[special thanks to jord for the sweet graphic!]...PRESENTS: NWL LIVE! Boston, MA 06/29/09 - 6:30 PMWelcome to the last NWL in June! I'm Jimmy Pietrafesa and we are here, live, in good ole BASTON, where the Brawlers look to improve their lead on the Eastern Conference. Tonight, we are going one tag match and one triple threat for each team, for a total of 5 matches! Match #1; Kenny King [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. Kevin Hart [New York Crush] vs. Brian Thomson [Chicago Warriors]- After 10:15 of action, in a heated match between the 3 men, Kenny King took the young Kevin Hart to school after he drilled him with the King's Coronation and scored the pinfall! This match definitely got the crowd warm. - Afterward, King showboated like he just won the Series Championship, and the crowd booed the hell out of him. Match #2; Jason Williams & Scott Taylor [Los Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Sean Shafer & Duan Sanchez Jr. [Tri-State Evolution]- After 13:24 of action, Duan Sanchez Jr. showed why he is one of the best independent wrestlers in America, when he nailed a beautiful SGM on Taylor and picked up the victory. Shafer was said to be banged up after the match. Match #3; Steve Corino & Cameron Stone [Boston Brawlers] vs. Nick Jacobs & Mike Bockwinkel [New York Crush]- After 20:06 of action, the hometown Brawlers were able to put away the New York Crush, after Cameron Stone drilled Jacobs with a Cam Slam and scored the pinfall. This was said to be a little drawn out, but still decent. - Intermission - - It was announced that the NWL Roundup will have an interview with Ace Bennett of LA's Most Wanted! Also, it was announced that Sean Shafer needs to go for x-rays on his shoulder. - New NWL's shirts were released! Match #4; Trace Demon & Chris Hammers [Las Vegas Blitz] vs. LyNN & Assassin [Chicago Warriors]- After 9:55 of action, in an all around stunning match up, Chicago was able to pull off the upset, which shocked the crowd. Match #5; Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] vs. Red Dragon [Las Angeles Most Wanted] vs. Kevin Shamrock [Tri-State Evolution]- After 25:01 of action, in a really great match to end the night and month of June, Kevin Shamrock finally pulled out a BIG win for his team after he creamed Dragon with a Famine Driver and got the victory before Smith could break it up. Crowd was disappointing with the outcome of that match. - It was announced that tickets for the next time that the NWL are in Boston, which is the 23rd of July, are on sale now! - The next time the NWL & I will join you is 3 days from now, in Chicago, during the month of July!

Cool to see this develop further, intresting calling Hart up to the main roster seems like King had his pay back on him though, Most Wanted geting quite average reviews apart from Bennett who is like the top dog at the moment, intresting to see the first injury, don't know why you refer to Chi-Town as the underdogs they are just like anyother team now right? Keep this up, good luck

It's cool to see King pin me, I see a small rivalry brewing with him which would be awesome because I'm a big fan of his. We need to get from last place

Alright, nice to see this still going on. It's a pretty innovative idea, like alot of people have said. Hehe, like that LyNN of the Chicago Warriors is having his fair share of wins and losses, not looking for the cleanest record around, in NWL. Chris Hammers is a lucky bastool teaming with Kenny King. Haha. Trace Demon beating Mike Bockwinkel is good, decent main event there.
On the Boston show, I was really suprised that I actually picked up a victory, especially over Trace Demon, but it's all good. Decent main event there, too, with a nice three-way bout.

NWL.com - The Los Angeles Most Wanted have released Scott Taylor from his contract. Taylor has agreed to the release and looks to be picked up by another team. Word out of LA is that Taylor wasn't the right fit. - Sean Shafer [Tri-State Evolution] went for an x-ray back in Hartford a few days back and everything seems to be clear with his shoulder. Shafer suffered the stiffness in Boston on the 29th. - NWL recently spoke to recently demoted Chad Collyer [New York Crush]. Here is a statement from this 'interview session': "...don't know why I was demoted but I can say I'm definitely not happy about it. I hope Bockwinkel knows that I want to be moved from the roster and I refuse to sit in the minor leagues. I am better than this and hopefully he can move me to a competing team also." Collyer goes on to REALLY ask for a trade or release. - NWL also sat down with Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] recently from his home in Syracuse, New York. Here is a little bit of the interview: NWL.com: "Ace, you have been enjoying success in the National Wrestling League thus far with Los Angeles. How does it feel to FINALLY break into stardom on the independent scene? Are you feeling any pressure? A. Bennett: "Well, I have definitely been enjoying my recent success, and its no surprise that LA is the top of the top. It feels great to break into stardom and I hope my recent success goes from recent to consistent. And no, no pressure. I've trained my whole life for this. I also would like to thank Marc for the opportunity. Its great working with the boys. NWL.com: "What are the odds of you guys winning the 'Series' Invitational' in your mind?" A. Bennett: "In my honest opinion very likely. We have a great group of guys who have been jelling as of late. I love working with them and hopefully our success continues. Read the rest of the interview here. Top Ten Of The Week:1. Ace Bennett [Los Angeles Most Wanted] [Last Week: 1 (/)] T-2. Tim Smith [Boston Brawlers] [Last Week: 3 (+1)]T-2. Nice to see King and Demon pick up the win for the Blitz. Nice to see I had a great match with Corino, no problem losing to him. Bloodrush to the referee was a plus. Lynn's got a great finisher with the Springboard Tornado DDT, a real pretty move.

Seems like me and Mike Bockwinkel are having a feud, I am liking it. Even if it isn't too much of a really big feud, it's more of a competitive feud.
