Today, CFW officially announced it's new match for Freedomania 2009.
Not only has the match changed, but so has the concept. One Conflict Episode 1, CFW ran trailers for a 'return to the 70's' show. At Freedomania, CFW will air a one off special match featuring Classic Superstars. Who will take part in this match? Stay tuned to find out.

Promo for Freedomania 2009 is up: figurenwrestling.superiorman.de/So currently the match is only known as Chris Benoit & ??? vs. Kurt Angle & ??? ::EDIT:: I was in a rush earlier as I posted the promo and forget to add something for the better understanding of this match: The four matches that I posted here on the forum a few years ago were "One Night Only"-style. Since my fed hasn't debuted yet, I couldn't use an ongoing storyline for the Freedomania / Figamania / Joint PPV matches. But I wanted to participate so badly that I simply said that the athletes agreed to work for the WWF for that night. So I could still make a few matches without actually having my own fed developed yet. But I wanted it to be different this time because it got boring. So I'll use a planned and partially filmed early storyline including Angle and Benoit for this year. Yes, by explaining it I will already give away the story and results of two matches, but hey - it will still take me some months before I start with my fed and until then, you probably will have forgotten about the whole thing already. ;D So here is what happened before the Freedomania match: During the second Smackdown show, Benoit and Angle were introduced as new talent. Angle couldn't understand why the crown booed him, an olympic gold medalist and cheered for the other guy. So he was out for revenge and interfered in Benoits match, almost costing him the victory. After that incident, both men clashed at the Royal Rumble, Benoit emerged victorious. The Freedomanai match will be implemented into my "timeline" a few shows after the Rumble. Now you know why they hate each other - but you don't know their partners yet!
By the way, were the pictures too big to fit two in a row on your screen? I feel that the picture size of most fedders is a bit too small, I like bigger pictures. But then it could happen that they won't really fit there. Did it work? Except for the end of the promo, there were always two pictures supposed to be in one row before the text part comes. Guys, I have had to make the difficult decision to pull out of Freedomania today. I'm still really busy at work and I'm just starting the pre-production on Worlds Apart, along with trying to get Conflict 4 finished for the weekend. I have 1/3 of a match for FM complete, so if I get chance to edit it, I will air it during Conflict 4.
