This thread would be swarmed with replies, but it's not as big of an online game as it used to be, don't get me wrong, I still play it, but it's not as big as it used to be.

Actually, it's been the #1 played game on XBL in the past few weeks. The reason why no one's talking in it is because there isn't enough to say about it that warrants it having its own post.

I haven't played Halo 3 since Christmas 2008. Very overated game.

Actually, it's been the #1 played game on XBL in the past few weeks. The reason why no one's talking in it is because there isn't enough to say about it that warrants it having its own post. I know, but it used to be ALOT bigger, it's just faded away lately. |

I much prefer Halo 3 to COD4 out of the two big XBOX Live games. In Halo 3, there were so many more chances for hilarious spontaneity. In COD4, the most you can hope for is getting a headshot, tons of fun.

I much prefer Halo 3 to COD4 out of the two big XBOX Live games. In Halo 3, there were so many more chances for hilarious spontaneity. In COD4, the most you can hope for is getting a headshot, tons of fun. I totally agree. COD4 is more liked for it's fun competitive gameplay while in Halo 3 it's their to have fun, unless you're some MLG nerd who takes it way too serious. |

In my experience ive found that the majority of people who despise Halo are people who:
a) suck at it and get owned every time they go online.
or
b) Are just ignorant and have never actually tried the game at all.
(Some have maybe played campaign but we all know thats not the full experience)
or
c) They're just a PS3 fanboy..

I agree, for instance I got a bunch of threating/rude messages sent to me because I was a British person playing COD4, an "American game that I'm ruining by playing" according to him, I think it's coz I came top in our team and he just died alot. In halo I find it's more younger players who scream and tantrum abit in the game then leave the lobby quickly when the game finishes, I have a higher level of toleration for that than people messaging me complaining about me playing the game. |

Halo 3 is pretty cool game. I bought it today. I usually just rent it. The sad part is that I can't play online because someone hacked my Xbox Live account that has gold. I've been waiting like 2 weeks, and microsoft still hasn't found out who did it. Halo was fun in the summer, me and my cousins, and their friends usually have Halo 3 game nights.
Halo usually has the kiddies who complain. I have had some good times with Halo.
