I thought I would give this a shot as the classic gaming round table seems to be well and truly dead. Any way this is sort of the same thing where members will pick a game and we play the game for lets say 5 days discuss it and then move onto the next game. If interested please post it here but don't put what game you will pick save it for a surprise. How about we have 8 members including my self go first and see how it goes from there. I think we should only pick games that every one has easy access to if you get what I mean so lets say nothing beyond N64. So play the game and post your thoughts and give the game a score out of 10. Please feel free to post your memories of the game if you played it as a kid as well and maybe a comparison to how it holds up today. GUYS WE COULD STLL DO WITH FEW MORE MEMBERS SO IF INTERESTED PLEASE POST Current game picked by ZMASTER HBKJASON - SUPER CASTLEVANIA IV ZMASTER - SPLATTERHOUSE 3 REVELATION HORROR - SOUL BLADE JOHN BENDER - MONKEY ISLANDTEARSFOFEARS - ANIMANIACS HBKJASON - REN & STIMPY, STIMPYS INVENTION ZMASTER - ZELDA LINK TO THE PAST TAWT - LETHAL ENFORCERS JOHN DENDER - TUROK 2DOUBLEJ - MANIAC MANSION HBKJASON - TMNT HYPERSTONE HEIST ZMASTER - TMNT 3 The Manhattan Project

Not really sure what to say. It was a hell of a game for its time, and like most old games, still a great play for what it is. Simon is, and always will be one of my favorite video game characters ever. And some of those powerups you could get for the whip...it was pretty awesome. Pretty easy game in the end you could say. Graphics were ahead of their time being completely honest. The music was pretty cool too, being stock and all.
Horror's Rating: 9/10

It's worth playing without a shadow of a doubt. The boss battles can be challenging to an extent depending on which one.

^ Ok dude I will add you ZMASTER your up My thoughts on Castlevania IV First of the soundtrack if ing awesome esp the first level where its all slow and kind of gothic then the track just kicks in. I found it a hell of a lot easier to complete than I remember it being, the only part that gave me trouble was where your in the river and teh damn current kept changing. Just a class act of a game all round when I first got it as a kid I went to the store wanting Turtles in Time which they did not have so I got this then a few weeks later my old man got me turtles so it was a win all round. 9/10

My pick is going to be none other than Splatterhouse 3. I don't see much talk about this game. Any thoughts?

Great choice mate you know I have never played this my cousin had Splatterhouse 2 on the Mega Drive and we played the hell out of it when we were kids. I aways thought it was a bastard to beat in fact I don't think I ever did.
Looking forward to having a blast of this.
Just want to add if anyone else wants to join and pick a game or just post your thoughts on the chosen game then please do.

Man do I remember SH3. I was young when I played it but it was a pretty gory game for its time. The monster and bosses scared the crap put of me. and I think you could transform into a huge ripped BMF. Gameplay was like most Beat 'em up's and the graphics where good. Don't remember much of the soundtrack though. Overall I'd give it an 8/10. But that is based on memory though.

Meh...I never liked "Horror" games on the Genisis....I don't know why. Never got into Splatterhouse 3. The graphics were OK, but the gameplay was....blah.
4/10

I've played through it. Pretty solid game. Too bad it's not on the Virtual Console and it should get on there in the near future. The story fit perfectly with the others as being the sequel.
I give it 9/10.

I played through it (pussies way on easy) and it was ok I found it a bit easier than Splatterhouse 2 my main gripe was how long some of the bad guys. Was quite a fun game and loved the little I guess you could call them cutsceens that you got. For a Mega Drive gave the whole presentation was pretty damn good would love to have seen Splatterhouse on the Snes but damn Nintendo's censorship at the time. i would score the game a 7.5/10

Great choice mate I remember buying this I was on the fence and the uy in the store told me if I liked Tekken I would like this what a understatement. I can't wait to have a blast on this again the copy I have in a carboard box upstairs is still the same one I bought when it first came out just one of those games I could never get rid off.
