Just wondering did anyone else catch these events when the ECW & WCW went out of business. I heard Eddie, Steiner, Sid Vicious, Luger, Sting, Bagwell, Sabu, Crowbar and Konnan used to work for them. I think I caught the last one back in 2003 when it was Sting vs. Jeff Jarrett to unify the WWA & TNA title. Just wondering what your guys' thoughts on the federation?

I bought one of their PPVs and have it on DVD someplace... haven't watched it in years though. It wasn't anything super special. They also had Nathan Jones before WWE picked him up.

I thought it was a complete shambles tbh. I ordered, tickets for one show, only to find out they had 'cancelled' the show, and never got my money back. I've got one show on video, it was the first show WWA Inception.

I went to one of their shows in like 2001. Ken Shamrock broke his nose and Disco Inferno got the biggest pop at the show I was at, haha.

I went to a show in 2001 in Glasgow best part was Bret Hart was there and slapped Jarrett in the sharpshooter. Was a ok show one thing I always remember is that there was commentary in the arena by Konan and I can not remember who else. Off the top of my head the main event was Scott Stiener vs Road Dogg vs Jarrett with Bre Hart as the enforcer or something like that.
Edit in fact I still have the program from the show.

the sabu/joe e legend match was brutal, full of botches, bad tables, and repetitive chair use.

I remember hearing about their shows (not the PPVs, the foreign tours) right around the time the Invasion was ending in the WWF. I thought WWA's shows sounded kind of sad, with the washed-up stars and commentary that you could hear in the arena and stuff.

That show was here in Glasgow. I never went to it though. I think I may have been to it, well I know that I saw WWA twice, first time was good, but the second time wasn't as good, there was this bum type guy beside me and asked me for my program, tosser
