![](http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj308/leanbean132006/WWE%202009/WWE_RAW.jpg) The opening credits play, followed by a recap of the Batista/Orton feud including Batista's win over Big Show last week to gain the right to get another shot at the title. An ad hyping the huge 8 man Night of Champions preview tag was shown. 80% John Cena and Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz and The Big ShowDecent way to open up the show. John Cena's two main antagonists were his opponents tonight. Kofi was kind of just randomly thrown in here. Miz tried to avoid Cena at all costs. The Miz got the pin after hitting a Reality Check on Kofi while the other two were on the outside brawling. Winner: The Miz and The Big Show- 78%Josh Matthews is in the back with The Brian Kendrick. Kendrick says that Vickie Guerrero has given him and his perfect partner a title shot at Night of Champions. He also mentions that they will be in action in the main event tonight. He tells the Colons that they better look out because he is the man with the plan. 75% Number One Contenders Match for Diva's Championship: Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James vs. Kelly Kelly vs. Jillian HallVery clustered match here. Maryse was at ringside for this. Not really much to say other than Mickie got the victory after pinning Jillian. Winner: Mickie James- 68%After the match Maryse attacks Mickie. She grabs the mic and says that she is the best woman champion in the WWE and that no one will take her title. We see MVP walking backstage. William Regal comes up to him and gets in his face calling him various names. The two have to be separated by security. They will get a chance at each other in the main event. 86% Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase vs. Goldust and Jim DugganPretty much a squash match to put Legacy over. Both men of Legacy beat down the other team. Legacy got the win when Rhodes hit the CrossRhodes for the pin on Goldust. Winner: Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase- 70%We go to the back with Batista. He says he is going to rip Randy Orton apart at Night of Champions. He also says that maybe Orton won't make it to Night of Champions because of the main event tonight. 78% Matt Hardy is out in the ring. He is complaining about having to fight with a broken hand. He is cut off by: Matt Hardy vs. Mr. KennedyAn alright match. It was pretty much used to bring Kennedy back. Kennedy hit all of his moves and Hardy hit a lot of his two. Kennedy ducked a shot with the hand cast and hit a Mic Check to get the victory. Winner: Mr Kennedy- 69%We go to the back and see Randy Orton being interviewed. He talks about punting all the McMahons and Batista in the head. He says that he will take care of business at Night of Champions and tonight is just a preview of what will happen. 90% The Smackdown Rebound is shown, hyping the Jeff Hardy and Edge feud. 85% The face team has already made their way out to the ring. The Brian Kendrick's music hits and two men appear. One of them is The Brian Kendrick, the other is........ ![](http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o120/munkee_04/WWE/PaulLondon.jpg) Paul London! He makes his way out to the ring, strutting almost exactly like Kendrick does every week, and Kendrick introduces him as THE Paul London. The other heels come out and the match starts. Randy Orton, William Regal, The Brian Kendrick, and The Paul London vs. Batista, MVP, Carlito, and PrimoA pretty clustered match, with people all over the place. MVP and Regal mostly fought on the outside while the other 6 men actually followed the rules. London looked very impressive in his return. Orton got the cheap victory on Batista after a roll up and a handful of tights. Winner: Randy Orton, William Regal, The Brian Kendrick, and The Paul London- 77%Batista and the other faces look on, livid in the ring as the heels raise each other's hands in victory. Raw goes off the air.

8 man night of champions preview match sounds nice. I really don't like that match being the opener sorry but it seems way too good to open a regular Raw. Kingston randomly thrown in there I don't really dig either Yup, I like the way you let Kendrick remind people about his NOC match. Mickie James becoming number one contender, interesting... I'm a fan of her so I like that, Maryse attacks mickie, something similar-ish happened on my Raw. Good going with that booking MVP vs Regal idea seems somewhat random which I don't like a whole load that as the main event too? ah =[ Rhodes and DiBiase beating Goldust and Duggan is alright, happy to see Legacy actually have a match... Batista ripping into Orton is fine... I thought you said MVP vs Regal was Main Event though :/ Not digging Kennedy's titan tron video being posted =/ just makes the show look less clean almost and only including his is pretty random Kennedy beating Matt Hardy in the actual match is nice Paul London returning to team with Kendrick is fine as heels, I hope you explain it with like a promo in the ring one time with say London saying Kendricks success has proved the fans mean nothing or something along those lines Oh, the main event is large including MVP Regal Batista etc all in one... fine by me, Heels getting the win is alright too Is their a reason why you'veskipped Extreme Rules? Overall ah, reminds me of me when I started booking some pointless things and a couple of bad booking moves... I hope I've moved past that :/ Yeh, solid show and keep going Throw my WWE 2009 a reply? ![:)](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/smiley.gif)

Really good opening match, glad Miz won. Wonder who the partner for TBK will be, hope it doesn't disappoint. Maryse/Mickie is a logical match to go with. Fine win for Cody & DiBiase, always interesting to see Cody/Goldust interaction. Kennedy winning is fine, Hardy sucks. Like the idea of The Paul London, but I think that it should have been saved for something other than the main event.

I am not too sure with the format of this diary. Miz and Big Show beating Cena & Kingston. With Vince, that would NEVER happen. Sounded like a realistic promo with Brian Kendrick. Nice to see Mickie James win a #1 Contender for the Diva's champion. Next match was decent. Awesome to see Kennedy back. I liked that he won against Matt. Awesome to see Paul London the final men. I can't wait to see him and Kendrick win the tag titles. Glad London debut winning the match. I honestly didn't like the main event. I think it was way too short. You need to add more detail in matches and add more segments. You have small segments. Work on that and you'll be fine. Can't wait for Night of Champions.

![](http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj308/leanbean132006/WWE%202009/ECW.png) The opening credits show and a video recapping all that has happened between Jack Swagger and Christian is shown, including Swagger earning another title shot for Night of Champions. 76% The New Hart Foundation and Natalya vs. Finlay, Tommy Dreamer, and MariaMaria makes a special appearance on ECW for this match. The New Hart Foundation dominated the two old veterans throughout the entire match. Matt Striker continually said he has never seen these two dominated like this before. Tyson Kidd finished it off with a Springboard Elbow on Finlay. Winner: The New Hart Foundation and Natalya- 66%We go to Tiffany's office. Christian and Jack Swagger are arguing about their match at Night of Champions. Tiffany tells them to be quiet and books them both in matches tonight. Christian against Vladamir Koslov and Swagger against Evan Bourne. She tells Christian that his match is up next. 72% Vladamir Koslov vs. ChristianNothing too special here. Koslov held the match down quite a bit. He dominated early on but Christian built momentum and hit a Killswitch to defeat Koslov, who got his first loss since joining ECW. Winner: Christian- 75% Hurricane Helms is in the back with Zack Ryder. Ryder is fixing his hair in the mirror. He puts his focus back on the interview and hypes a match that will happen on Superstars against Tommy Dreamer. WOO WOO WOO! 64% Jack Swagger vs. Evan BourneA decent match, but these two just don't click in the ring. Bourne hit a lot of nice moves on Swagger and it looked like he would pick up the victory at several different points. Swagger overpowered Bourne and hit a Gutwrench Powerbomb for the victory. Winner: Jack Swagger- 72%Swagger celebrates as ECW goes off the air.

Random for Maria to be in that match but understandable, heels winning made sense. I feel like Christian/Kozlov would easily main event an ECW show, and somewhat of a waste for Kozlov to job already. Swagger winning the main event was fine, either man winning wwould have been good. I just think the show was slightly too short for ECW standards.

-Agreed that Maria is random to put there, but love that the Hart Foundation won, push them -Kozlov/Christian should've main evented, and ended in a DQ so neither of them look weak -If Ryder doesn't win on Superstars, I riot -Swagger/Bourne would be good, glad Swagger won
Decent ECW, I just didnt' like the placement & finish of Christian/Kozlov. Plus, you should get somebody to make a Night of Champions poster for you as it looks weird to see all those Champions there and most don't even hold titles currently

Maria was random, but at the same time it made sense. I am very happy The Hart Foundation won as if they lost, that would have crushed them. I like the way you set up Christian versus Vladimir and Swagger versus Bourne. Happy Christian won as him losing would kill his heat. I love Zack Ryder, the gimmick is just gold. Nice main event, happy Swagger went over. Overall, a nice show.

![](http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj308/leanbean132006/WWE%202009/9632024.jpg) Superstars kicks off with the opening segments. It is announced that the main event will be Chris Jericho and Kaval taking on Rey Mysterio and a mystery partner. Primo Colon vs. The Paul LondonKind of a meh way to open up the show. Both of these men had their partners at ringside. London's new character really shined through in this match and it works really well for him. London got a rollup and pinned Primo, causing the concern that THE Hooligans should have a title shot down the road. Winner: The Paul London- 69% (huh huh 69)We go to the back and see Rey Mysterio on the phone talking to someone. He gives whoever he's talking to a lot of thanks. He hangs up and looks excited. 80% The Smackdown Rebound airs, hyping the Jeff Hardy/Edge feud. 86% Tommy Dreamer vs. Zack RyderAlright match here. Pretty much a squash though with a tiny bit of offense from Dreamer. This gimmick is really working for Ryder and Dreamer is just getting old. Ryder continued his winning ways with a Hair Plant, and after fixing his hair, got the victory. YOU KNOW IT! Winner: Zack Ryder- 69%We go to the back where Jericho and Kaval are standing in the locker room. Jericho is pacing back and forth while Kaval sits on a bench and seemingly has complete focus. Jericho starts talking about how he doesn't know who Rey Mysterio's partner is going to be tonight. Kaval slaps him in the face, which startles Jericho, and walks off. Jericho follows, rubbing his face in complete shock. The main event is up next. 78% Chris Jericho and Kaval vs. Rey Mysterio and Evan BourneThe crowd gave a huge pop when Evan Bourne's music hit. Jericho looked stunned and Kaval just had the same look he always has. It was a decent match, each team getting in offense at times. Mysterio and Bourne work amazingly as a team, and surprisingly, so do Jericho and Kaval. Bourne went for a Shooting Star Press, but Jericho moved and Bourne landed on his feet, only to be met with a Code Breaker. Kaval keeps Mysterio away as Jericho gets the pin. Winners: Chris Jericho and Kaval- 79%The winners celebrate on the ramp as Superstars goes off the air

I liked the opening contest, it seemed like a good way to start off the show. I am surprised it only got a 69 rating. I wonder who Rey was talking to on his cell phone, I would mark for a Zombie Eddie Guerreo return :x I was surprised to see Dreamer job out to Zack Ryder but I love it. (YOU KNOW IT!) Very nice main event, nice to see Bourne main eventing. Very happy Jericho and Kaval went over as that is just smart booking. Overall, a decent show.
