this all couldve been avoided if u put the UK on the list Oh, so this is my fault? No, it's not. UK got voted anyways dude. So, don't blame me. The only thing you can blame on me is the fact this thread was even started. I didn't throw the first stone so to speak. You're the one who made the comment about Why the UK wasn't on the list and Triple S responded to it. You threw the first stone so don't push this on me. Also, I didn't put Australia on the list. Did they jump on me for it? No. I didn't put freaking Asia on it. Did they jump on me for it? No. I didn't put alot of cities on it but did they jump on me for it? Nope. I listed reasonable locations and put other.

Anywho...the PPV will most likely be held in Toronto. JB posted a list of his favorite Canadians on his Facebook the other day. I think that serves as a hint.

Yeah, I was thinking that as well since it came almost right after it. I can see it tbh because they had "successful tours" as well (Yeah, anyone can use that argument). That's kinda why I listed a Canada city on it and figured Toronto was the most likley. I wouldn't mind taking a trip up for it tbh.

Just make a weekend trip of it.

UFC have run pay-per-views in the UK and they must not bomb since they've done more than one. I'd definitely attend if they held BFG here, but I can't see it happening. TNA do know they'd get a sold-out crowd since both UK tours have been sold out each night.

Some of you (notably SG of course) are confusing TNA with being a big business - and it's not.. TNA is not the WWE or the UFC... their PPV buyrates are not on the scale of the WWE or the UFC's - nor will they ever be.. They are miniscule by comparison, so while it probably doesn't make sense financially for the WWE to hold a PPV overseas, that doesn't really apply to TNA.. It has basically a cult following and is not a recognised global business like the WWE or UFC.. TNA is small-fry in business terms - a niche product.. In fact, they're lucky to still be in business.. Their weekly crowd is made up of a mixture of die-hards and tourists, while their flagship show, barely breaks the 1's.. As has been pointed out, there is a bigger market over here for TNA already, than there is in the US and Canada - so they would make more revenue over here... and like I said, their biggest ever show to date, took place over here in Wembley Arena.. At the end of the day, holding a PPV over here wouldn't make a damn bit of difference, as far as buyrates are concerned - because the buyrates they do get, are pretty much insignificant in the first place.. All it would do is put the TNA zealots' noses out of joint, at not seeing the PPV live, or having to watch it at a different time to what they're used to.. I knew I shouldn't have even started this. I knew it would turn into a "IM IN THE UK GIVE ME A PPV BECAUSE WE CAN" thread. Just lock it. Then in your infinite wisdom, after the "other" option, you should have specified to choose only US or Canadian cities/states.. You're not that naive are you?.. What did you think the UK'ers were going to say?.. Why would we give two sh*ts about which US state the PPV is going to be in?..

"notably SG of course" - Excuse me? Go find where I said TNA was a big business. If you don't think TNA is a good size buesinss you're a moron. Also, "In fact, they're lucky to still be in business.. " proves you're an idiot. It really does - oh yeah, they're lucky to still be in business because they've got a great TV deal on Thursdays in PRIMETIME, monthly ppvs, merch in stores, a freaking million dollar company backing them. Oh yeah, that's luck. Also, why do you care about where TNA holds a PPV? All you ever seem to do when you come to the TNA board is bash the holy crap out of it - why does it matter? Oh wait, I forgot - they've got Doug Williams now and since he's from the UK you're going to have a boner from TNA now because they're using Doug Williams.

i think triple s started this
i pointed out tht uk wasnt on the list and answered the question by saying i wanna see it in the Uk
he replied How many times does it need to be said to you UKers? NO pay-per-view will be in the UK again. Fans in the states would have to stay up until what, 3am? to watch it live. Buyrates would plummit and the company would lose money.

Ireland, at least they could sell the show out.

Yeah that's what I took issue with, and why I got into the discussion - I didn't care for the way he just basically told the UK'ers to shut up - and dismissed the idea of a UK PPV out of hand... like he was Jeff Jarrett, or Dixie Carter, herself.. "notably SG of course" - Excuse me? Go find where I said TNA was a big business. If you don't think TNA is a good size buesinss you're a moron. Also, "In fact, they're lucky to still be in business.. Oh wait, I forgot - they've got Doug Williams now and since he's from the UK you're going to have a boner from TNA now because they're using Doug Williams. Yeah, a PRIMETIME show, that barely breaks into the 1's - and PPV's with small, insignificant buyrates.. As for where the PPV is held - no I don't really care - but it would be nice to have one over here - and it's not beyond the realms of possibility, at all.. Doug Williams has nothing to do with it - I've watched every Impact and the delayed PPV's, without Doug Williams being there and I'll watch if Doug Williams leaves.. but obviously the emergence of an English/British faction, will increase my interest in the company.. Ireland, at least they could sell the show out. Oh, it would sell out over here, don't worry... but, yeah, TNA can't even sell out PPVs in their own country - yet people are scoffing at the idea of them holding one where they will sell out.. UFC have run pay-per-views in the UK and they must not bomb since they've done more than one. Exactly - if a big company like the UFC can run a PPV over here, then so can TNA..

Alright. Let's end the argument now.
1. UKers are pissed that they weren't even considered for a poll on a message board. Wow. That's dumb.
2. TNA could do a PPV in the UK. They won't. But they could.
3. Time to get over it.

They're also pissed because they refuse to admit that, while the opportunity is there for TNA to host a PPV there, in the foreseeable future, they won't. Period. Is that a bit more accurate?

Just for the record, there has been more WWE pay per views in England (SummerSlam 92, not to mention all the SPECIALS they get like Mayhem in Manchester etc) then in my hometown. Knoxville holds more people the most arenas around the US, but you dont see us pissing and moaning about not getting a PPV.
Like it or not, WWE makes their money from AMERICANS, Financially it would be a bad decision to air a PPV at 4pm est time in America as most people are still at work or even school in some areas. You'll have your special events like "Gettin Lucky in London" and "Loser leaves Leeds" but the fact is WWE and wrestling is a business and financially it doesnt make sense to LOSE money by having a PPV event in England
