I remember i was at my friends with my brother and online we were talking to my friend james while he was in KY,.. the first thing he said to us over a messenger was that Owen Hart was Dead... I thought maybe the killed off his blue blazer charachter. he was like.. no Owen fell from the top of the stadium during his entrence... we quickly opened a window and went to ...at the time... and I won;'t say the site but I used to go to a place that totally changed a few years ago with the name mania in it... Owen's one of the guys that made me fall in love with this business. After learning about his life I feel a great deal of sorrow for Owen, his friends and family, those he worked with and knew well, and his poor kids who had to grow up without their dad around when he wanted to so desperately be there for them. So many have been lost to drugs and self-destructive behavior...and then there was Owen, a guy who was simply above all that. A legitimate family man, a fun loving prankster, and all the other characteristics we hear about from those who knew and loved him. I'll never full understand it. Thank you, Owen. Not only did he seem to steer clear of destructive vices, he was quite frugal, according to several wrestlers, because he wanted to retire and spend time with his kids. Life seems so brutally unfair in situations like this. ^ Definitely. Owen always seemed to have his head on straight and stay away from stuff that would kill or seriously harm him. He seemed that the only thing he wanted to do at the end of the day was go home and see his family. Now with a family of my own, it makes even more sense, but also more heartbreaking to see just a good man pass because of a stupid angle. While I don't wish death upon people, but there are several people that by rights should be dead already because of the choices they've made. But they are alive (surprisingly) and Owen Hart isn't. Life isn't fair. On a side note, if anyone has a chance to read Martha's book about Owen, it is definitely worth the time.
