They were a team for less then two years, although they were one of the only tag teams that in physical shape were a threat to the Legion of Doom in the mid-eighties, ironically they were supposed to be UWF's version of the Road Warriors. In 1986 they broke up and the rest is history...STING & ULTIMATE WARRIOR.
What do you guys think would of happend if they stayed together? Recently I've given thought to how parallel thier ring costumes/facepaint were in the early 90s (neon face paint-almost identical "face symbols" by the way). It would of been sweeet to see them as a tag-team then.
I remember Sting did a televised interview on TNA in which he hints that him and Warrior didnt leave on good terms. On the Warrior Shoot DVD, warrior states that he, sting, and bill watts had an altercation and Sting didnt back him up. Others say that wrestling down south was a little too physically intense for Warrior. Sting stayed down south and developed a passion for pro wrestling that we still see today.
In 1998 Warrior had a brief stint in WCW in which he re-united with a then-wolfpac sting. That night on Nitro they had a tag team match: Bladerunners vs Hogan and Hart. On paper it seemed like the dream match of all dream matches...but it came a little late.
What do u guys think of steve and jim?>

i remember a ringside signing at the city which both were guest and warrior refused to be near or i think refused to even be in the same room as sting. Warrior seems to be a guy that one just cant respect.

I think Sting's a great guy, charismatic and a hell of a star in the business, and he's had staying power, but Warrior...Lots of people have their opinions about the Warrior, but I never thought he was anything special, TBH.

Kinda weird to think they were ever on bad terms, since they used the same paint pattern until Sting became Crow Sting
