what a disappointment. I was hoping there is a reason for keeping things quiet, instead its just the same gameplay again. Ah well could be worse, they could've gave us LOWM controls

I just noticed something. Have a look at this: Triple H's Character Model at the title screen before match  Triple H's Character Model during match:  Don't know if it will mean anything but maybe the in-game footage was an early version and the title screen model is the final version. |

I wish they'd do to Triple H what they did to Booker T in 2008.
Rework his entire character model, make him more slim line.
Because Triple H has one of the worst character models in the entire game, imo.

I definitley think something must be done. Either we boycott this game and none of us buy it or write to THQ. It's bullpoop that they think they can push the same exact game on us with slight additions and expect us to pay $60.00
I don't even blame the PS2 users for this one, it's just inexcusable to take a game that's been out since, what...2007? Make little to no additions, or additions no one wanted in the first place that RUINED the gameplay, somehow make the graphics worse, have LESS superstars, have LESS moves, and expect us to pay the price of $59  ing 99.
OH BUT DON'T WORRY GUYS THEY'RE REHASHING THE poopTY PAINT TOOL FROM IN ANIMAL CROSSING AND GIVING US THAT! OH DID I MENTION THE NEW ELBOW PADS ON TRIPLE H! SUCHA BARGAIN!
I miss the days when they gave us a new match type we cared about, and didn't REMOVE a match type.
God, I dunno who to blame but whoever is making the games at the moment (be it THQ, Yukes) suck balls.

May as well have McMahon be commentator, but that would require more work.
Am I jumping the gun a bit? Hell yes I am. But if I'm going to PAY for this game I want it to be ACCURATE to what it claims.
Take NBA2k series for example.
If they released that game with Shaq NOT on the Cavaliers people would be pretty disappointed.
Now imagine if every year the graphics got worse, the teams barely changed, and you were STILL playing with the 2008 roster.
Would you buy that? Hell no. I'd stay with NBA2k9. They recorded the commentary in February. So, unless they could see in the future, then they had to go with the commentary teams from February 2009. But, we do get the Slammy award winning commentary team of Matt Striker and Todd Grisham! |

Same old crap, different year. I can't believe their using the same animations from almost 10 years ago! This series has needed a new engine for years now. I'm so glad I stopped watching WWE and don't feel the need to buy this crap game. Yukes amazes me. The same company that made the first really awesome UFC game, can't put the same work into a WWE game. Maybe they should find another developer and have them rotate the WWE games like they do with the COD series.

Well the only new stuff I noticed was Triple H's attire, apparently new camera angles but that could have been through Highlight Reel, A new Pedigree and Triple H's chest going red like after a chop. I kind of like the new finisher effect, reminds me of SYM or HCTP's not sure.
So much for this "Updated CAW Mode", looks exactly the same as it did since 07. Oh but we have this revolutionary paint tool that was on the gamecube games! THIS IS GTAIV REVOLUTIONARY PEOPLE!
I'm baffled at THQ making out like this game is something new and fresh, especially with that E-3 trailer of them counting down from the very first Smackdown. Entering a new era, of the same old shiiiiiiiiit.

If you advance the date on your computer to the 20th--when it expires, it'll give you a link to a video on Gamespot.com, but it only takes you to Google.com as of now. |

I never use or make Caws so i don't really care about them, but they should look realistic and not out of place compared to other superstars in the game.
The Video looked like a let down, but we still have a while to go until its release and more news, and as someone said it maybe just an early version of the game in which I hope it is and that they have made improvements since.
- The camera angle facing away from the stage is weird and I hope that was just made in Highlight Reel.
- The Finishers, If they are like that will probably get annoyingly repetitive after a while.
- I hate that we are getting the same animations as the past couple of years apart from a few features like HHH's Taunt.

In fact, I think me and Yoshi Tatsu are eye-to-eye in height, but I haven't met him yet to find out. Oh, and watching Raw from Monday, and I didn't realize how tall Randy Orton is compared to the Big Show until I saw Raw. |
