is a normal jay lethal too much to ask??
im watching sacrifice as i type and lethal looks a twat in his entrance and IMO this macho man gimmick is so stupid now
i liked in in the paparazi days with nash and that but c'mon......
i mean i can just appreciate his athletical abilities without the gimick and if he ooses his gimick he coud do so much more.....
thoughts??

I think it's reached it's peek. It would be good for Lethal to cut a promo without the voice without the gear and just be himself. Talk about not being a joke, how he's been living this "gimmick" for so long and he's tired of it. Lethal Consequences goes on a winning streak (winning, not burying) leading to Lethal Consequences getting over as a team, Lethal dropping the Machismo stuff, and Creed getting TV time like he deserves. They both win.

I remember wen he first appeared. He was rather bland, but he's more experianced and I think he would be great without his gimick.

Why would Jay drop the best thing to ever happen to him?
Without that gimmick he probably would have never reached where he is in TNA, and he would get lost in the shuffle and be seen as just another random X guy.

I Say He Slowy Drop It Week By Week, Like Wear new tight one week or some craplike that.
Plus i saw him at JAPW, he wasn't doing the gimmick he was VERY OVER, well Maybe beacuse He know from TNA, but still He was iMPACT Zone Over in TNA before the Gimmick, He was Know as this Young Kid Gimmick.

He is or was over as Black Machismo.
He has never been over in TNA to any real degree as Jay Lethal.

Did he wear his old tights? ^ If I remember right, i think they where the Old one he wore in TNA the Orange ones, or Blue. He was facing Kenny Omega for the JAPW World Title that day. But yay he didn't wear the glasses either. |

He's always over in JAPW because that's pretty much where he started out. He has been there for so many years. Anyway, he should drop the gimmick. Yes, it was great for him at first. But now it's just beyond annoying and stupid. He should just be a normal wrestler going after the title belt. Lethal could have been launched after he beat Angle in 07, but as per the TNA tradition, nothing came of it. |
