Luis Enrique got it badly wrong for me today. Firstly starting Suarez out wide was a huge ask. Mathieu looked absolutely lost at Left Back, and Xavi over Rakitic made no sense at all, back to the same old tired leggy three. Even when Iniesta then came off, surely he should of pushed Mascherano up, pulled Mathieu in and brought on Alba but instead he just brought on Roberto. Messi playing deeper and deeper, once again shows why Suarez should of played down the middle in front of him. No better Side than Real Madrid on the counter or in open space though. Carvajal, Isco and Modric superb.

Wonder how long it'll take Ronaldo to get out of Kolo Toure's back pocket....

My Arsenal friends on twitter/Facebook are the gift that keeps on giving at the moment. World beaters one minute and then Wenger out 45 mins later!

Looks like there will be some sick games in the round of 16 in the Champions League. Chelsea vs. PSG and ManCity vs. Barca And Dortmund, Schalke and Leverkusen are absolutely ed haha. So Bayern will again have to keep representing the Bundesliga.

Maybe just needed a bit of love.
Liverpool fans were starting to lose patience with him.
Chelsea seemed to pretend and support him.
Milan never took to him.
But he's still considered a god at Atletico.
... Just looking too much into it though aha, it's one game.

Weird man, I didn't catch the game because I was asleep but I dreamed that Torres scored against Real and was really impressive. Wake to find he scored twice in the game.
And I didn't have the game or the news on while I was sleeping or anything like that....so yeah, weird.

Looks a really good prospect, and Madrid's style of play will suit him. Will be interesting how they develop him and whether he gets much first team football over the next couple of years.

Apparently they think he'll be ready for the first teamm next season. I'm skeptical as no one had really heard of him until a few months back when he was pictured in Liverpool having lunch with Coutinho aha.
Hope he lives up to the hype though. Got to laugh at Ronny Deila seriously thinking he could take him to Celtic though. He's now on 80k a week at Madrid!

He'll definitely benefit from being there, but I'm not sure he'll beat out James, Kroos, or Isco. (Would be embarrassing for them to be beaten by a 16 year old when they all are coming off a world cup)

I think it's a wrong move.
He'd be much better off moving elsewhere then earning a move to Real Madrid later in his career. Attacking players come through a revolving door at Real and youth players might as well just forget it.

Ronaldo not getting banned for the Madrid Derby was the best news ever. I have tickets and I would have been gutted had he not played.

Privileged to witness one of the most iconic Madrid derbies ever. Hope you had a good one mate. Atletico were unbelievable. The level of detail Simeone has drilled into his Players is on another level.

The level of detail Simeone has drilled into his Players is on another level. Was absolute quality. Everything about it was just incredible. Had a couple of days in Madrid too so saw the sights & did the Bernabeu tour (which was really good, def recommend it - really self-congratulatory and flashy but that's what you want from a stadium tour!) etc. Amazing trip. Might do another few in different cities but won't top that one. Simeone is, as far as I'm concerned, the best manager in the world.
