He was like my best friend, my father and my rabbi all rolled into one. We were SO close. I know how you guys feel, you were all close to him too....all used to hang out, visit each others families, he was there for your graduations etc. I know how you feel, I miss him too

I wish their was a 'kinda' option since he was never one of my favs but it's still sad that he is gone.
I really only think of him when I see old matches that he is in.

i miss eddie. I miss him when i think about where he would be in his career now. He could have feuded with HBK, HHH, Cena, Orton, Taker, Legacy, Y2J, Edge, Christian- the list is endless. I miss him when i see Vickie (not the character but Vickie herself). I think about his family when i see Vickie, i think of Eddie when i see people signatures on this board etc
God bless eddie, we love you and miss you

Yeah, it's a real shame that "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert is longer with us.

No; not really. It's changed quite a bit since he was there, and despite how over he was, it really had nothing to do with his in-ring work, which was worlds apart from what I grew up watching him do in ECW and WCW...

I was there to see him beat Brock for the title. But honestly I expected him to either retire or leave the WWE as they really didn't have much left for him to do other than win the title again and that would have been for the same reason that they had Mysterio win. To bring in that Hispanic crowd.
I feel bad for his family mostly.
