I think WWE have made a mistake by not putting the title on him in the past. They should of let him shine on ECW.

His final match will probably be at Extreme Rules, he's taking on Christian/Swagger in a Triple threat for the ECW title.

It ends Saturday, but they're (kayfabe) giving him a one day contract for Sunday.

Here's what'll happen.... Either Christian Retains or Tommy Dreamer pins Jack Swagger and cuts the promo on how he won the belt but he still feels he should retire with the belt leaving it vacated

According to the "internet dirt sheets" WWE has offered Tommy Dreamer a real life contract extension.
Whether or not it's to wrestle or be GM or do something backstage like an agent like he was doing before 2005.....we'll just have to wait and see.
I for one would love to see Tommy Dreamer win the ECW title on Sunday as a reward for everything he's been through in his career and his life and all the dedication he's shown to ECW and all the jobs he's done with WWE. And if he does win, having met Tommy and knowing a little bit about the REAL person, I know it would be a really emotional moment and mean a lot to him and the fans of the ORIGINAL ECW.

But, I doubt they will have him win for the simple fact, that it is not the Original ECW and therefore, I think WWE feels, only the original fans would want this, and as we know Vince believes theres only a few thousand original ECW fans left. I hope I'm wrong, because I would love to see Tommy win. |

Uh.Stupid WWE.Tommy has been in this business for a long time.He gave his heart and soul wrestling for WWE!And you get just reward him with the ECW Title!

I also think WWE is going to prematurely take the title off Christian because with RAW having NO active decent faces except for Cena and Batista, who we've seen feud with Orton a thousand times....and with Kennedy's release....WWE needs a charismatic face to feud with Orton over the WWE title with Triple H and Shawn Michaels out and Cena and Batista SUPER stale when it comes to feuding with Orton.
I'm calling Christian losing the ECW title and moving to RAW.

Tommy will win and on the ECW following Extreme Rules, he'll vacate the title. A few weeks later, he'll be announced as the new General Manager of ECW.

They said he has a 1 day extension on his contract so that he can wrestle for the title in a triple threat at Extreme Rules. If he wins, he extends his contract, if not, he walks away.
I hope he wins, but if not, then hopefully he'll become the GM of ECW, and make the show awesome again.

No way should Dreamer get the title. ...unless Christian is being moved to Raw or Smackdown to feud for a main event title. If that happens, who gives a crap.  |
