Who's debut was more exciting, Undertakers or Kane's? You pick?

I personally think Kanes was. Ripping down the door of HITC and costing Taker the title. I mean nobody knew who he was it was crazy

Taker had a hell of a dominating debut. But Kane's had much more impact and it was more memorable. I remember watching that live and literally having nightmares about the guy.

Undertaker's didn't really had any impact compared to Kane's.

Kane's debut would not have been there at all if it wasn't for The Undertaker to work off of...It's just the way the business was, compared from 1990 (Taker's debut) to late 1997 (Kane's debut) Seeing as I have to pick, I'd have to go with 'Taker, as he did it first, and is still going.

Undertaker's debut doesn't really stand out as a memorable moment, since everything after is what defined him.
Kane, on the other hand, made a huge impact upon his arrival and still lays claim to one of the best debuts in the history of the WWF; 'Taker's debut would rank lower on that list.

Kane.
Because everyone was waiting for a glimpse of him. And the young mark in me at the time wanted to see the 'neglected brother' whom Paul Bearer promised would get his revenge.

Kanes was so impactful. So shocking and at that time he made a huge impact. Althought i can imagine if i seen the Undertaker at his time of debut it would have been different.

Kane, because of the surprise shock of seeing him, and Vince's classic quote of "That's gotta be Kane!"

Kane's obviously was a bigger deal instantly, but it also completely relies on Taker because if Kane hadnt been involved with Taker in such a hot angle, that debut wouldnt have ever been such as much of a big deal.

For me it has to be The Undertaker, just the build up of DiBiase having a special tag partner for the Survivor Series match & then seeing the creepy deadman walk down the ring & eliminate a couple of guys with such ease. Quality

Kane's debut was pretty awesome, I must admit. Undertaker's a far better character overall, and yes, without Undertaker there would have been no Kane. But comparing just their debuts, and not their legacies, I have to say Kane's was better.
For one thing, Kane had a big storyline build-up before he appeared, whereas the Undertaker got kind of a cold (no pun intended) introduction. It was just like "here's this new scary guy," whereas with Kane, they built up for months that this dude was THOUGHT to have died in a fire, DID NOT die, and is now HIGHLY IRRITATED at the Undertaker and coming to settle the score.
I still remember Vince losing his s--- on commentary when Kane finally appeared. "That's GOTTA be Kane! That's GOTTA be KANE!"
