Cool cool. Yeah, I have - but as part of a mission. Good Lord was that thing a nightmare to kill! Still haven't seen a Thunderjaw, but discovered Lancehorns recently. I also discovered a "cauldron" but it was insanely slack fighting a Bellowback and Watchers by myself, had to quit before I rage-quit. 😥 I'll get back to the cauldron when I have better weapons. I've discovered many new machines, now including the aforementioned Thunderjaw. Includes now: Snapmaw, Longleg, Trampler and two slack flying bird ones I can't remember the names of. Still do much to do - I'm having such a blast with this game. It ticks so many boxes for me. Glinthawk and another one, it'll come back to me. I beat the Cauldron! I beat that Bellowback! Awesome! I used the Rattler. Found another Tallneck and cleared some Corrupted Zones. Had a crack at some Bandit Lairs too. I've yet to go to Meridian but I'm having an awesome time playing this at my pace. Sorry if it seems I'm clogging this thread with my constant gushing but I've had a sabbatical from video games for a while, and this game is superb on all fronts. 😁

Still working on my Sony backlog, and added my PSP to the mix.
PS4- I got the Call of Duty IW/MWR combo for an insanely good deal, so that leaped to the front of the line. I'm honestly very surprised by how enjoyable the campaign is on IW. I had previously been trying to work on Dragon Age Inquisition, but something about the game just wasn't clicking with me. I'm hoping to give it a more serious look after I finish COD.
PS3- Although I beat the Mass Effect games on the 360, I couldn't pass up getting the trilogy on my PS3 during a random sale. I think I paid $7 or $8 for the whole package. So after failing to connect with DA:I, and due to the theme of COD IW, I decided to start these up again. As outdated as the original is (still kinda crazy to me that this game is already over 10yrs old), I'm enjoying it a lot. Just hearing Kaiden's voice again early on brought back even older fond memories of playing KotOR for the first time in my teens. Once I got far enough in the game to see Garrus, I was lost completely in the nostalgia.
Vita- I've been upset with myself for putting off The Wolf Among Us, but I ended up getting hooked on Olli Olli and Hot Shots. Once I'm through with those, I SERIOUSLY need to cut the s**t and play TWAU.
PSP- Finally took Tactis Ogre out of the plastic wrap. I almost threw the towel in on the game early on due to a HORRIBLE design choice for one of the stages. Your "guest" characters obviously do whatever they want in battle, and sometimes if they die, it's not a big deal. They just apologize, teleport off the map, and you fight on. But one level asks you to save a woman who is about to be attacked, and if she dies its game over (I later found out you could choose a different response at the fights start, and only miss out on later characters should she die). She's far away from you on the map, has multiple enemies near her with ranged attacks/spells, and is flat out suicidal with her decisions. She literally refuses to retreat, and just relentlessly attacks everyone near her. Sometimes she would be lucky enough to block/dodge several attacks so I could try to get close to her. Other times, she'd get hit with consecutive critical attacks and die immediately.
I finally made the choice to backtrack and level up a bit before entering the battle, but it still took blind luck to win. I tricked the AI by making every one of my characters charge into the thick of things. Doing so typically causes the AI to get dumb, and attack everything they see, as opposed to focusing on characters with low HP. As soon as 2 of my guys got close, the AI pretty much ignored her, and focused on them despite her being pretty close to death.
Since that battle, I've enjoyed the game though. Once I wrap this one up, I'm hoping to start up the Star Ocean games I have next. Then on to the Persona series.

Still engrossed in this (even played whilst sick off work today)! Killed a Thunderjaw! Man - took me ages! Finished the Tallnecks and did some more Corrupted Zones. Discovered the Rockbreaker and Stalker. Yeesh. Did another Cauldron too. Able to override Sawtooths and Snapmaws now, amongst others. Apparently there will be DLC for it down the line. I'm having too much fun as it is.

Didn't know how important tear arrows were, which I didn't have when I first fought it. Had to leave it and go back.

Killed a bastard Thunderjaw in that small enclosure! Tearblast again comes in handy. So now I can override everything - but there's one Machine unlocked in the notebook still. Still heaps to do. What did you do with Olin?

I've been able to play a lot over the past few weeks to bump my percentage up to 80%. If that last machine is what I think you're talking about, its story related so you'll meet it when you advance the story enough.

So last night I am playing Horizon and was at the end of the Meridian main story fighting about 8 Glinthawks. I die over and over numerous times. I figure a decent way to battle them and I have all of them destroyed besides one. We're both down to our last bit of health. Its flying and I hit it with a flame arrow and he's dead. As I am celebrating he crashes right into me and kills me. I was so pissed. Fortunately, it didn't take me to many more attempts to finally get past that part.

That'd drive me insane. Most I've encountered is three at a time. Ah - yes, I did that one too. Thankfully I already had the tearblast arrows, those and hardpoints are godsends! Started playing Strider (2014) and I can't believe I missed this game. The in-game models are kinda...bad, but the game is so much fun. Always was a big fan of the old side-scrolling ninja games (If that wasn't obvious lol). The more they made you feel like a ninja the better.

Just got Sonic Mania on the ps4. I won't spoil anything, but will say this. If you loved the classic Genesis Sonic games, you will love this. It's best experienced going in without any idea of what's happening because I was smiling the whole way and there were times I even shouted incredulously at what I was seeing. It's a decent length game; I'd say a bit shorter than 3 & Knuckles, but not by too much. I'm going to be playing this one for a while to try out the other characters and master the special stages.

Lot of rocket league on XB1. Also tried RE4 but I fee like the controls are weird, they seemed better on the ps2 and 360 versions.

While everyone else was at Gamestop tonight getting Madden, I picked up Uncharted Lost Legacy. So far I'm enjoying it. It's got the traditional series beauty, with Chloe showing a small bit of Drake's humor. I hope that it ends up doing well enough, that maybe the series will continue, to tell more stories of the supporting cast, because so far, it's proving Uncharted doesn't have to live and die by Nate.

i plan to purchase age of empires 2 hd on steam and start playing it online. anyone else on here happen to play AoE2 still? I own the HD edition. Major disappointment, virtually identical to the original game, just better optimised for modern operating systems and better water effects. That's really it. I read that an Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition is planned, so I'd look out for that in the future, given how incredible the upcoming Age of Empires 1: Definitive Edition looks.

I played on GTA most times. It is quite interesting PC game, but now I cannot play on it. So, I decided to find another alternative free games and finally I found good solution – play on free flash games on www.friv2online.com/ It is convy when you will have some free minutes and you can play a bit in interesting game online.
