All due respect to Dan Hardy, and he did good. But thats a big off to all the dumbasses who were sure Davis was getting put to sleep.... That could well be aimed at me!! I think most MMA fans were thinking someone would be getting put to sleep in this fight & as a Hardy fan who thinks Davis is over-rated especially his "incredible" boxing skills I figured of the two that Dan would be dropping him. Although it could be you are just gutted you called the fight wrong in the thread about this fight..... Hardy controlled the fight & seriously rocked Davis so still a great win

Just finished watching Turk/CC and Wandy/Rich. CC looked good. He finished the fight without even throwing a kick. The eye poke sucked, but I don't think it would have made a difference in the end.
To be honest, I thought Wanderlei won the fight. Rich one the first round, Wandy the second due to damage, and I thought he won the third because he was the aggressor for the most part and rocked Franklin at the end. Even with Rich getting the takedown, I still think Wanderlei won the fight. Overall I had it 29-28 Silva. I don't know how the judges got 30-27 Unanimous Decision for Rich.

Fun event, but some screwy descisions. Uno, Davis, Wanderlei, I thought all won 29-28.
What a chin on Cain Velasquez

I completely agree with you they were some screwy decisions. I wouldn't mind seeing Wand vs Franklin rematch.

Fun event, but some screwy descisions. Uno, Davis, Wanderlei, I thought all won 29-28. What a chin on Cain Velasquez No way did Davis win that fight - he got owned..

I think Davis won personally...like he said...he won 12 minutes and only lost 3

Kongo and Velasquez are both so very one-dimensional it's scary.

I think that fight was oo close to call. I give Hardy props for winning but I can see Davis winning that. Id love to see a rematch just to end the BS hoping that next time it is finished rather than a decision...

Hardy clearly won the first and third rounds.. Davis almost got knocked out twice, and at no point during the fight, did it look like he would knock Hardy out.. If I remember correctly, Davis caught Hardy with only one solid shot - and Hardy simply smiled back at him.. Davis got messed up, while Hardy barely had a mark on him... the only thing Davis had over Hardy in that fight, was octagon control.. Still... no matter what the outcome, it was a great fight - which surprisingly, did live up to the hype.. Fun event, but some screwy descisions. Uno, Davis, Wanderlei, I thought all won 29-28. What a chin on Cain Velasquez I'll definitely agree with you, about the Silva/Franklin bout.. No way in hell did Franklin win all three rounds of that fight - that is some bullsh*t..

I just saw the Wanderlei/Franklin fight....
what a bullsh** decision that was. Wanderlei did the most damage and was the more agressive of the two the entire fight. It was very close..it should have at least been a split decision...
