I haven't read the comments because I don't want to be spoiled if I decide to buy the replay.
Anyway, I don't think the actual live show is finished, but based on the show so far, can anyone PM me whether the show as been good so far or not? Or at least if it's worth purchasing? I'm undecided whether or not I want to purchase it with some friends tonight. Thanks!

That was bullsh*t. It really could of gone either way. That decision did not warrant a Unanimous Decision.

i knew that would happen. I was wrong on all my picks but one. I didn't order this one...how was it?
and did Wanderlei look good during the fight? I guess there goes all the talk of a Wanderlei/Anderson fight..

Excellent 1st card in Germany, I was very happy Dan Hardy beat Marcus Davis, not because I am from Britain nor do I not like Marcus Davis, I just Dan Hardy can become a player at 170 if not 155, his lack of strengh was made up for with a solid chin. Got into the Uno Fischer fight from the 2nd round, thought it wasn't a unanimous, but oh well. Swick and Saunders was fair, but the hairs stood up all over me, when Wild Boys blared from the speakers (my speakers), and it was an honour to see Mirko return, I think he picked his spots well sad his win was tainted with the accidental eye gouge. I was really rooting for Kongo, but he got manhandled, Velasquex' wrestling, heart and chin was nice to see, however until he learns to finish the elite fighters off, he isn't worth the title shot, I mean would he do that to Brock, Randy, or Shane Carwin or even Herring? Doesnt Wandy just elicit emotion like crazy when he walks to the cage, I thought it was a crazy fight, I would have also gave it to Silva, but Rich did get the wrong end of the stick against Hendo, so its only Karmaic I suppose.
Wandy, will have to up his game if he wants to test Anderson Silva, still it is mouth watering to know of the potential Wandy vs Bisping, Okami, Reljic and Cote battles to come at 185. As happy as I am for Mirko, I felt that could have easily have been him under Cain Velasquez' body for 15mins, against a full on wrestler Mirko will ahve problems at this stage I feel.

He did an interview and when the interviewer asked about Cro Cop's return to the UFC after this fight, Dana kind of shrugged it off, but I could be wrong.

I hope not, I would love to see them rematch Cro Cop and Gonzaga in December, a spanner has been thrown into Heavyweight division, I think everyone was expecting Kongo to face the Mir/Lesnar winner, I think Carwin is now in the drivers seat, Cro Cop is still a draw, and who knows if he is still on board, perhaps with another win over an elite fighter, he will have a chance.

I thought as long as CroCop dominated his opponent that Dana would bring him back..I didn't see the fight but I think CroCop deserves to come back.
I read the detailed results for Wanderlei/Franklin...sounds like I missed out on a great main event. Oh well, I'm just waiting for UFC 100 now..

Beating Al Turk (Poor guy is out of his depth), proves nothing , i would give Cro Cop one more fight against Velasquez or maybe a rematch with Kongo.

Especially when you've got Mike Goldberg on commentary saying to expect "a razor-thin decision". It was close and I was rooting for Wanderlei, but he came up short. In no way was it unanimous, that's for sure. That's like saying it was a complete and total hands-down victory for Franklin, which it clearly wasn't. Split decision I might buy, but unanimous?? I think not. |

Wanderlei was like 10% of his old self and still won the fight in my eyes. Rounds 2 and 3 were definitely for him.
