I think the last time for me was in a downstairs market in a shopping centre around 2002. There was Anvil, IRS, and the 2nd version of the Bushwackers. There were one or two others but they are all I can remember.

wow! 98 to 99? Thats pretty amazing! I only remember them being in KB toys, when they were trying to get rid of them. 3/$5 if i remember correctly maybe 1995 was the last time i saw them in a shop that would have received them directly from hasbro!! It could have been later than 1995 though, cus if i remember, they started getting in foreign cards too! Which was really weird. I guess KB toys really got them on the cheap, and from all over the world at that too!!

When Hill's went out of business in 1999, the one in my town was still trying to unload quite a few Rockers sets on torn up cards.
Man, I remember those Rockers two-packs being the pegwarmers to end all pegwarmers - that is, until CS Fabulous Moolah came along, anyway.

Yeah, those Rockers were everywhere. In Orlando, those Rockers sets were in TRU until 1995, and they had hasbro Jimmy Snuka in an Eckerd's Drug Store until 1996.

Yeah I remember a few foreign cards showing up. For Christmas 95 I had Brutus Beefcake 2 on foreign card, and remember picking up the first Big Boss Man from a market on foreign too around the same time. I swore to myself that I would keep the nightstick and shears safe, but they got lost eventually.

Must've been 1998 that I bought the last stock (all series 1!) from my local toystore to resell on ebay: Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Akeem, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Demolition Ax, Ultimate Warrior, "Ravishing" Rick Rude and the blue ring.

KB Toys at the South Hills Village Mall in Pittsburgh, PA had Headshrinker Samu and Scott Steiner on the shelves until 2001. I found it very strange nobody bought them, unless they just had a large stock of them for some reason.

Get this: 2005! It was a Headshrinker Samu and a Bushwhacker Luke at a Big Lots closeout store. Before that it would've been probably '97 at a Hills departments store.

I remember seeing a few Scott Steiners on really beat up cards in 1999 or 2000 in KB Toys.

December 1998, I found the tan Bushwhackers, both Headshrinkers, & Scott Steiner at a Big Lots, for just $2 each. I already had Samu and the grey Bushwhackers, but think I got one of each anyways.
Before that, in a "regular" store, it was probably K-Mart mid 1996, the Tatanka re-release was around forever. A couple of them, too. One day, they were just gone.

I would say around 1996 was the last time I saw any Hasbro figures in stores. The HeadShrinkers, and Scott Stiener must have been at my local Kaybee forever. They ended up being marked down to .49 cents...and they finally left.
I also remember seeing a a few figures at a drug store (cvs) around 1996-1997. They had about 3 Rowdy Pippers and 1 Brutus Beefcake. All four of the figures cards were in horrilbe shape.

I wish I could have found hasbros after 1996ish.. I remember KB had the headshrinkers and giant gonzalez for about 2 years until they were cleaned out. It wasn't until the late 90s that I realized that I should have bought some to keep in the packs but oh well nuttin was better as a kid then getting hasbros and opening them up. After reading on here though I might just have to make some random stops at the local big lots in hopes of a little luck and running into some.

Think last saw hasbro's on the shelf at retail when I visited France in 1999. A lil toy store their had about 5 pipers and a snuka. But Get this... Last year (2008) I picked up 6 boxed Hasbro euro rings (with soundbox). From TRU here in the UK !!! heres what happened: I found them by accident... They wer a stack of toys extra stock (action figures Gi-joe etc) Piled high on top of one of the rows (we are talking about 12/14ft high shelve above the pegs). I spotted a stack of these rings through a tiny gap behind the figs . I thought I was seeing things. I called over to a store worker who went up a ladder to grab me one down. And yep I was right. He grabbed down the top one of the little stack and it was cover in thick (and I mean thick) dust !!! Couldn't believe it... So we went to get a price at customer service........ LOL... when they scanned it came up invalid item ! I said how I desperately wanted it and perhaps the others... so they called over the assistant manager who was like "where did you find this " to which the sales guy said "the customer sent me up a ladder they were stacked up high.." Then to my horror the ass mang said well we can't really sell it cause its not on our stock"...... I was like nooooo Please ! Then I suggested what about you ring it through as a in stock wrestling ring, a jakks one but then she explained how it would mess up their stock count...... But I again insisted I really wanted it and if there was anything they could do........... to which she replied.... "ok ok... we can ring it through as sale misc"... Dam near pissed myself !!! Then asked how much.... Then the best bit.................99P !!!! So then to put the icing on the cake I asked if I could have the others... which she said "sure" ...amazing huh ! 6 boxed rings for for under £6 ! and this was last summer !!!!! I still have one but I sold the others on ebay just before Christmas to raise some funds...

Was the Southampton store ! Crazy huh. They must of been sat there for 15-16 years. But as i said, they wer well hidden away. I'm guessing stock was always placed in front and rotated time and time again with those rings just sat their behind.

2004! Walgreens pharmacy. They had hacksaw jim duggan (the one with the flag and the blue body attire), honky tonk man and typhoon.
Walgreens is notorious for having a toy section with stuff from 10-15 years past. wish I had gotten them back then to sell on ebay. I think they were 7.99 each.
There is a hobby store near me that closed last year that actually had an s.d. jones (red shirt) LJN figure in the package up until they closed last year.
