from alanwojcik.com/id140.html by way of wrestlecrap forums: Alan Wojcik: Your former home promotion ECW died nearly eight/nine years ago. But WWE uses the name and TNA appears to be bringing in several former ECW stars (Raven, Stevie Richards, Taz & Shane Douglas to name a few.) What do you attribute to the longevity of the ECW name and attitude the fans exude when the promotion is brought up? Could you ever see yourself working for TNA even if Vince Russo left? Steve Corino: I could see myself working for TNA even if Russo stayed. My beef with him was buried a few Christmas' ago. In fact I just emailed (aka begged) him yesterday for a job! LOL. I think the ECW name is always going to live because the fans and wrestlers really lived that life. The fans were every bit a part of the company as the wrestlers were. It was a family. A family of misfits, but a family! Plus ECW then meant that you had to not only be tough but freaking crazy. I have watched some of my old stuff and think "What the hell was I thinking there?" but it was all for the fans.

He could do some good things with TNA but I doubt he'd be able to last long.

Corino tells some good stories. TNA should give him and Steiner a weekly show together. It could replace an hour of Impact every week.

I like Corino. Met him a few years back and he can still go. Idk if he would be right for TNA but he could probably do something.

I didn't watch ECW when it was around and although I've heard of and researched Corino I never really got a feel for his inring ability. I'd like to see him given a chance.

i never really saw the big deal in corino. was a mild fan of his in ecw, but i've found his work has gotten worse and more aggravated over the years...similar to vampiro

Like Foley, Tazz and many other guys... I'd love to see him signed, but just not to wrestle. I'd enjoy Corino with a headset. He's a god on the mic.

I agree with this Corino would be awsome but I wouldn't mind a few month ring work first, he's still good in the ring. Just to check have Corino ever had a feud with Douglas? The promos would be godly!

Great storyteller in the ring and knows how to get heat. Understands that sometimes less is more. Funny guys and seems like he's got a great mind for the business. Should be working behind the scenes for someone.
