I don't mind the swerve if it means we can see:
Joe and Angle vs. Styles and Daniels.
Plus, Joe is a good heel. Maybe now that he is with the Mafia(before he eventually turns on them), he'll drop the paint and baggy pants look and go back to his old look.

Just finished watching the show:
KURT ANGLE ( or whoever told him to wear the jersey ) IS A DAMN GENIOUS! Geat crowd reaction and it was also hilarious.
The way the King of the Mountain match worked came out completely crappy, but it did it's job. King of the Mountain is a NO DQ match, as previous ( even this year, mostly ) years have shown. So the DQ of Joe made no sense, following the rules. Plus, the match didn't even start... so the DQ nor the "win" for Angle should've even occured.
Also, the way the Joe/Angle showdown happened was a little too quick, for my liking. Further adds more to the fact I feel Joe is very awkward when it comes to acting. The way he pulled back, you could tell nothing was going to happen.
However, overall, it all made sense... as it was pretty much the only logical way to pull off what they wanted to do. Make it look like the ENTIRE thing was staged. Nash, Steiner and Booker's "injuries"... alongside of the the whole swerve during the match. Well done TNA writing, terrible acting Joe.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Besides that, the show was overall good. The X-Division KOTM could've been much better, with better spots... Suicide winning was predictable to me, even though you could tell the crowd REALLY wanted Sabin to pick up the win. However, kept my attention the whole way through. Which I can't say for all the matches.
Daniels/Douglas was very disappointing, but once reading the rumors about Douglas... I can accept it. Plus, "The Franchise" is just older and it shows, nothing can be done about that. Finish seemed a little awkward, but nonetheless... Daniels is still with us, which is good.
Monsters Balls was EXTREMELY impressive and shows that TNA is holding onto what they need to... violence. If the WWE is going completely PG, TNA needs to capitalize on this. However, only on pay-per-view. Make those "hardcore" fans want to pay $30 a month, to see a sick spot, like Daffney going into tacks. Taylor and Daffney beat the hell out of each other and really carried their own in this match. Wilde has earned my respect, after this showing.
Love/Tara was decent, as well. A little too much interference, you'd think one of them was hurt. Either way, I expect these 2 to fued until Bound For Glory. Just glad they didn't give her the title so soon and are allowing Love to run with it.
Sting/Morgan was as good as Sting/Morgan could be. Except Sting really stepped it up with his spots. The Missle Dropkick and the second rope Scorpion Deathdrop really caught my attention. The rest of it, a little lackluster... which I expected.
I fast forwarded through most of Beer Money/3D, as we've seen just about everything these two teams can offer together. I did have to watch Bubba kill Rob Terry several times with that splash. I fully expect Bubba to be out for a few weeks, with a wrist injury. Beer Money winning was a given, so who really cared about this match anyway?

I think the Main Event Mafia has started to become like the NWO..... You had a good original stable, then all of a sudden the wrong people get involved (Ex. Joe in MEM, or Virgil, Mr.Perfect, etc in NWO). But who knows right now, but Joe doesnt really fit in to be honest....

Is Russo always the person to blame? Ugh. Russo's the booker, so yes. Russo doesn't book every show himself. There is more than one booker, you know.

I was supposed to attend this show, but for other reasons, I could not. My buddy went, with the group he was supposed to go with. We had front row-upper bowl tickets. They had their tickets upgraded to tickets worth about $75 or $100, I'm guessing.. Within the first 5 rows of the lower bowl, directly looking at the stage.
Haven't seen the show yet, but can't wait.

Did anyone get the replay tonight and then not see the ending? I did and I'm not pleased! The show itself was awesome, but I didn't get to see the Joe-Angle swerve. Ugh.

Maybe now he can wear some classy suits to hide the girth.

After reading the results I actually wish I had seen the show. I would have been more shocked at Joe joining the MEM than I have by any wrestling angle in a long time.

Just edged out Sacrifice for TNA's best PPV of the year. No bad matches (although Victoria/Angelina was disappointing.) and 4 good to great ones (tag title, both KOTMs, and monster's ball). Douglas/Daniels was better than I expected as well. Hopefully we get a brilliant Joe/AJ match at Victory Road. I'll be there
