1 An in-depth interview with R-Truth
Majestic: Thank you for taking the time to sit down with us today R-Truth.
R-Truth: No problem at all, man. I'm happy to be here. Let's get this interview started.
Majestic: Many people are saying that as of right now, you are the hottest ticket in C2W. What do you have to say about these comments?
R-Truth: Well, I'm glad people think that, but to be honest, I've got a lot of work to do before I'm worthy of praise like that. I had it rough growing up. I didn't even have a pot to piss in. So hearing people praise me like that is beyond anything I've ever experienced.
Majestic: Speaking of your childhood, you mentioned things were very rough for you in your early years. Could you tell us about that?
R-Truth: I was born in Atlanta Georgia where I was exposed to gang violence, drugs, and all kinds of crime. I can't even begin to explain how bad it was. As a kid, I was able to stay away from that stuff with help from my family. As cliche as it sounds, my dad wasn't around to be a father figure. So I looked up to the gang bangers for support.
Majestic: Can you explain how your name reflects your troubled past?
R-Truth: Well when I was in my twenties I was jailed for robbery and assault. I paid my debt to society because I knew I had to own up to what I had done. I didn't want to spend my whole life going in and out of jail. I knew I had to make a change, so I turned to pro wrestling. For a while I worked in some low budget companies, and I would tell stories in the locker room about my past. And guys would come up to me and say "Man, you don't sugar coat nothing. You tell it how it is. you speak the truth" From then on, the boys called me R-Truth. My first name is Ron. You can put two and two together.
Majestic: Now that your life is back on track, what do you plan to do in C2W?
R-Truth: I want to become champion, plain and simple. I put my body on the line in that ladder match to get a shot at the title, and I damn sure ain't gonna waste it. I know just how good Dibiase is, and I hope he knows how good I am. Without a doubt, I am coming for the gold. A lot of people are doubting me, but regardless I'm hungry for that championship. It would seal the deal, and let me know that... that I made it.
Majestic: One more question before we wrap things up. What do you have to say to your supporters going into this Championship match?
R-Truth: I just want to tell all of my fans to keep supporting me. You guys are the reason I wake up every morning and am able to do what I do. Without the fans I would be nothing, as cheesy as that sounds. All of the people who chant my name, cheer for me, bring signs, and all that, make me who I am. Thank you so much.
Majestic: Thank you R-Truth for gracing this company with your athleticism and thank you for this interview.
R-Truth: Thanks a lot.
2 C2W's Top 5
A lot has changed since episode 1. Let's see who is on the list of the top 5 superstars of C2W.
5. William Regal. Regal demolished Paul Burchill with the help of his new protege, DH Smith. Despite the fact that William Regal had help defeating the Ripper, a win is a win. Which is why Regal claims the number 5 spot.
4. Lance Storm. After a victory over Jericho and a stunning interference in the 4 way ladder match, Lance Storm is well on his way to the top of this list. What will Storm have in store for the next show? We'll have to wait and see.
3. Val Venis. Although Venis never entered the ring, he made a huge impact by abducting the lovely Trish Stratus. No one has seen or heard from either of them. Venis has Jericho running in circles which gives him the number 3 slot.
2. Ted Dibiase. Although he is still the champ, he has not taken part in a lot of action. And there seems to be a storm brewing on the home front. With any luck the Dibiase family can work things out and move forward. But for right now, the champ is number 2.
1. R-Truth. we saw that one coming! This young superstar made a humongous impact after defeating 3 other superstars to gain a title shot on next week's episode. Things are going good for R-Truth. Can he capture gold?
3 JR's pic fed review
Good ol' JR reviews two pic fed shows featured on WF Forum's picture federation board.
Hey folks, I'm good ol' Jim Ross ready to take a look at some interesting pic fed shows. First up is
4RIW Unleashed. While there were flaws in presentation, originality, poses, and picture quality, laylael did better than expected in my book. Pictures were blurry, but I could still understand what was going on. Commentary was pretty solid, but could have had more... color. All in all, the show was better than expected and I hope laylael sticks to his guns.
My second review belongs to the great people of
N.E.W. Usually, I am a huge fan of picture quality, but when you have poses like this, who cares!? The poses are phenomenal and look so fluent. Camera angles were a bit iffy, but nothing my eyes couldn't handle. There could have been a few more backstage segments and match length could have been longer. But despite these minor flaws, I was extremely pleased with this show.
4 What's the point?
In the past weeks C2W has received threatening packages. The C2W publication team is not yet sure what these packages are implying and how they directly relate to C2W staff, management, and/or superstars. C2W's official thread continues to post updates as more clues are acquired. As of right now, the identity of the person(s) sending the packages is unknown. We will keep you updated as more information is given.
5 Episode 4 review
The following is a brief review of C2W Episode 4.
Pros: C2W's fourth broadcast had some great moments that may go down in pic fed history. First, William Regal and DH Smith joined forces to defeat Paul Burchill. Second, Ken Kennedy mad a shocking statement as he floored the giant, The Great Khali. And last but certainly not least, R-Truth made history as he captured a briefcase like never before to become the #1 contender for the C2W World Championship. The show featured advancing story lines, shocking moments, nice poses, and jaw dropping spots.
Cons: With all pros come cons. While the poses were well done, high risk moves could have been enhanced with transition pictures. Although the story lines are advancing, some feel the story lines lack luster or originality. hopefully these cons can help the C2W production team better the show and federation.
