PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE has expressed interest in re-signing TNA's Sheik Abdul Bashir, formerly known as Daivariin WWE. Daivari's contract expires with TNA in the coming weeks, and WWE is said to be interested in bringing him back into the company should he decide not to stay with TNA. Remember, when Daivari was released from WWE back in 2007, he asked for his release and was not fired. WWE wanted him to stay with the company and re-sign a deal with them.
I hope this is true. He was underutilized in the WWE the first time around!

well, i would like to see him in WWE if he had the same gimmick - but knowing WWE, they'll give him a silly one like a gay Iraqi or something - if he was bigger then he could be a real heel

He's super cut now, and has gotten ahold of a great spot in TNA. WWE wouild just shove him back down the ladder again. There's no Cruiserweight Championship for him to go for anymore, and WWE won't see him as anything but a mid-carder jobber. He's got amazing talent and if he's smart he will keep the spot he's in in TNA.

Daivari without Hassan = pointless.
I wish they were aiming for Styles, Shelley or Robert Roode instead.

Eurgh, I hated Daivari, as I disliked Sheik Abdul Bashir. Not really bothered about this interest.

I like him alot but I don't see what could be done with him in WWE, not that his spot in TNA is all that great anyway.

Yeah, I would just go with "WWE interested in Daivari". This isn't a wrestling news site where we're trying to get hits and trick people into thinking it's someone like AJ or Joe.

He's a former X-Division Champion, is involved in a growing storyline and even has his own faction, I'd say that he's a pretty big star in TNA at this point. Maybe not on the level of a Joe or Angle, but he's found his own little niche in TNA. He's definitely a bigger star than he was in WWE, if he wasn't then WWE wouldn't be wanting to do business with him. It's not as misleading as it sounds. -BEN

nothx. Let me know when they bring another star back who will draw viewers. Nothing against Daivari, but I really just don't care about him. I'm sure he's a solid talent but I hate the evil foreigner gimmick they saddled him with for awhile last time.
