Seriously, since he came back from being injured, he started as an unstoppable monster, carrying around a knife, being advised, then more monster, then vowing to destroy MEM, arguing with AJ, calming down, making up with AJ, remembering he said to destry MEM, destroying MEM, wanting to kill Angle, not killing Angle...
Seriously, its like TNA is making up what to do with Joe as they go along, twists are good in storylines, but when a gimmick or story has no substance but twists, it gets too confusing.
He should have just come back as a 'advised' monster who went through the entire roster to get to the MEM... if they wanted to do the twist with Angle then it would have worked much better imo.
What do you think?

I just can't take him seriously, at all.
He looks intellectually- disabled & has lost all credibility in my mind.

i think TNA might be treading here a bit. love the Joe character but now this new twist seems just thrown in there, although it was greatly executed. I believe though that this may be good for Joe's characted now as it goes with that unpredictability...so i'm anxiously awaitng to see how this plays out. Perhaps TNA swerved the IWC by plyin things out as if Taz was the advisor. It actually adds more intrigue to the character so in essence it works itself out.

I Think there going with something that Kurt Angle Convinced Joe to Side with him to get back at the Main Event Mafia because Kurt isn't the leader anymore
Something like that anyway

I still think the turn was to get closer to Angle so he would have an easier way to take him out

I thought it was clever. You know, making Angle be able to win straight off the bat. I can't stand his gimmick though.

I'm just going to sit back and not over analyze this Joe thing. That was a huge shock and suprise to me last night. Probably the first time in a long time that something happened on a wrestling program I didn't see coming. Now I just want to see where it goes. Especially since I believe this will be the beginning of AJ Styles quest to become the TNA champion which will probably happen at BFG.
TNA is really starting to get their s**t together and it shows in all aspects. For my money Slammiversary has been the best PPV by any promotion so far in 2009 and I can't wait to see what is next.

He looks ridiculous now, I preferred him the old way. The twist might be to get him closer to Angle, so he can take him out.

He sucks now, They should of never of put the War paint on him, Changed his attire and character when they made him return... There was no need to do it - They should of just kept him how he was before and Make him just do his thing - Now he's been 'Pissed on' by Vince Russo to put it lightly!

It's not that confusing really, Joe's come back planning to get revenge on the Mafia, destroying 3 of their members, only to turn on the fans and his friends like AJ, and join the Mafia.
It'll all be explained on iMPACT this week.

Russo likes to prove he's smarter than the fans, which makes him come off as a prick and an idiot
I said with MEM started that Joe should join them, but what he did last night made no sense.
TNA has all the tools to be great... But it'll never hapen at this rate.

I don't understand how Booker and Steiner could applaud Joe for switching sides when he was spilling their blood no more than a couple weeks back.

Really? That's insulting. Why? Lashley was in ECW, technically. Just not Paul Heyman's ECW.

Joe's new character blows and makes no sense. He shoulda came back without this whoe "Nation of Violence" crap. It's so dumb and it's making me not like Joe.

I don't understand how Booker and Steiner could applaud Joe for switching sides when he was spilling their blood no more than a couple weeks back. Mafia's got the power back. They've put over how much power being world champion has and how that the title wouldn't "mean anything" until the mafia got it back.
