I really, really enjoyed the PPV tonight. Top to bottom, very solid. Nothing amazing, but everything outside of Mickie-Maryse was very solid. Hell, Melina vs. McCool was the best women's match since 'Mania 22.
Punk should have kept the belt though. He's too hot right now. Hopefully they continue the feud into Summerslam.

Hey thats a nice sig you got there... Wanna know how to piss off a Jeff Hardy fan before tonight? Show them the ending to Extreme Rules. Not arguing for either side, but Jeff Hardy fans reacted the same when when Punk won the belt. It's like a middle school on here. You know what, after hours and hours of watching that footage- I've finally learned to cope with it. goozfraba

Yes, Jeff Hardy won! OMG I am very happy. Punk adds one more lackluster world title reign to his resume. Hopefully Jeff's title reign is better than the last two since his time as champ was about as bad as Punk. So does this mean that Jeff is staying or is he going to lose at SummerSlam? EDIT: my posts are now 7,777. That's kinda cool, too bad it will last for like 2 minutes.

To be fair, i've not put it in my sig to piss off ALL of punks fans. I actually would rather have Punk win. It's aimed at one person, and one person only. *COUGH, Cashed Money Punk COUGH* Your very, very cold. I can't believe you don't get it.

Thats how I feel, a very Wrestlemania 25-esque feel going on. Great card, great matches, big damper on the whole thing because of the finish. Even for the Hardy fans, it was a weak finish. It made Punk look horrible.

Possibly the best PPV of the year with Backlash in front of it.

I do say I love how passionate the Punk/Hardy rivalry has made wrestling fans. This feud is so fresh right now compared to Triple H vs. Randy Orton (vs. John Cena.) Kim

How did everyone feel about the triple threat match? I don't really see anyone talking about it because of Punk/Hardy, but I thought it was excellent.
Definitely took me by surprise, considering I'm bored to death by nearly everything H/Cena/Orton do nowadays.

It started out a little slow and I got weary but my God, it got hot and picked up when Triple H and Cena had their face off. I was totally into it by the end. Definitely much better than I thought it would be.

When it started I kind of just watched it because that match was on, but at the end- I was really getting into it.

Yeah, the triple threat started off slow, I got really in to it around Cena dodging the Punt.

WWE.com has a video of Mickie cutting a promo on McCool, so get ready for the match somewhere down the line.

I have to speak on this.
I LOVED that Jericho played the face-in-peril, and by the end of the match, Jericho and Big Show got a face pop. Nobody works a crowd like Jericho, and then right in the promo, he was back to being a heel. So brilliant. I almost thought he was going to take on Priceless by himself.
I'll even go and say it was Priceless' best match. Yeah, it worked the tag formula, but Jericho works the tag formula so well. Small things like diving to make the tag and getting caught just go a long way.
AND, Show and Jericho looked like a solid team too, with double team maneuvers and good timing with one another.

I always love a tag tam when one guy is the big huge power house and the other is that great technical wrestler. Really makes this team of Jericho and Show work.

WWE.com has a video of Mickie cutting a promo on McCool, so get ready for the match somewhere down the line. Then I guess it will be champ vs champ at SummerSlam! That should be a good match. Hopefully they have triple threat matches later on because I want to see: Mickie v Beth v Gail and McCool v Melina v Natalya. One of those matches has to be on an upcoming PPV.
