So I get off work early for a change and go down to Big Lots. I see a bunch of Four Horsemen 2 Packs... but the reason I went was to get a Hogan Vs. Andre. There wasn't one in sight. I asked the cashier as I was leaving about it and she laughed saying people have been calling nonstop asking for that everyday. She then went on to say they had about 30 of them and one guy bought them all. Sucks.. I just wanted one.. LOL..

I went today to our local Big Lots.
All I saw was a few Havoc Unleashed figs - 4 JBLs and 1 Taker.
I didn't think to ask if they had any more in stock in the back of anything wrestling related.
How much were those Hogan/Andre packs going for anyway?

Its really hard to belive that one guy bought 30 of the same figures but thats just me  But it maybe true its just my opinion |

I live in Southern California. There are TONS of scalpers here. The funny thing is that I've read posts by members on this site over the years who live by me according to their info. I've seen them post about scoring a bunch of figures and have even mentioned Toys R Us's by me, and see them selling them for more. So, yeah, we have scalpers on this forum... you shouldn't be shocked.. LOL.. We have a local place card/toy show here called Frank & Sons which are open on Wed and Sat. The guys who setup tables their scour the toy stores and have told me they payoff employees to hold stuff for them.

She must've been exaggerating. I bet they had like 8-10, and some jerkoff went in there and cleaned them out. These damn scalpers truly hamper my passion for collecting figures.

you know i had a scalper take a fig from me once.......it was when i was 8, the som-bitch literally came up to me and went "hey look you dont want this one" all while slowly pulling the fig from my hands and placing another one in my hands,
god taking toys from kids is something i would never do, no matter how rare the fig......
there was also a time i took the last Batista and some kid came looking it afterward, in the end i decided i wasnt gonna buy after all so i went back to look for the kid, but he was gone................

I hope I run into that Hogan/Andre set at the Big Lots near me. That and the Max2 Taker.

Have these Hogan/Andre sets been seen lately? I thought it was just by fluke that the member here found it in one of the Big Lots. Anyways, I went yesterday to look for some maximum aggression figs and I see this kid in the aisle just bouncing this ball around and all of a sudden sees the same figures I was looking for and takes all of them out of the shelf and puts them side by side on the floor then leaves. No idea why. But Anyways I pick up taker and might go back today for edge.

Ok, if I can find my receipt, I will post it. I went to a local Big Lots, and they did, to my surprise, have the Hogan Andre 2 pack. It was $15. They had 30 of them. They were all super mint, and the receipt says (WWE ARGOS EXCL HULK/ANDR). They were right next to the Horseman packs. *EDIT* Found it  |

My Big Lots only has MA, Bend 'Ems & Havoc Unleashed. I have yet to see Hulk/Andre. I've been about 4 times in the last 2 weeks. I have picked up a MA Taker, Edge, and Jericho for me, and a Cena for my son. Probably going back in a few days and grabbing a Carlito and an Orton.

i picked up a set in michigan tonite at biglots. they had probably 15 andre/hogan sets, and a few horseman. they also had the big 12" wrestlers (morrison, carlito, burke, taker)

They had a ton of them at my Big Lots last week. I have to think that it would be hard to sell them for a profit on ebay, with them popping up all over.
