Raw - Jericho/Guerrero sounded good, hopefully your heading towards a triple threat of some sorts as that would be sweet. Austin/Steph segments throughout the night were good, liked what you did with Austin. Random way to redebut Bulldog, expecially in a losing effort, didn't really like it but glad ECK got the win, more ECK segments. Glad T'n'a disbanded, hopefully Test goes over in the feud and a nice win for Benoit. The main events were good, although I feel one of they should've been spread out in a one in the first hour, one in the second way. Glad Rock went over Rikishi, but wouldn't mind seeing a Rikishi push. Kinda wish a heel was in the main event for Smackdown but whatever.
SD - Nice opening segment, Austin winning was expected, again I wish you used an already established team rather then redebuting a former team and have them jobbed out. Don't really care about RTC, hopefully you job them to the Dudley's. Eddie turn was well done, hopefully you give him a run with the IC Title. Again I'm wondering why you brought back Bulldog, surely Billy Gunn or someone else could've been in the role you've got for him. Decent Rock promo to hype up the main event. Liked the Hardcore title stuff you did. Jericho/Rikishi was fine, Rikishi push plz. Great main event there, expected Austin to win and glad he got the pin on Kane, Rock/Taker stuff was great and looking forward to a feud between the 2.
Overall this is some good stuff, yeah it is a bit too detailed for my liking, but that's your thing. Hopefully you keep this going to Mania as there's some good stuff developing.

I love the “this week in wrestling results.” What a great idea. WWF definitely had the better programming this week. I hope you bring up Eric Angle to the main roster, he was great.

Monday 8th January, 2001 San Jose, California; San Jose Arena Live on TNN - The opening signature to all WWF programming airs, showing numerous clips of the RAW stage with pyrotechnics going off, before cutting to the WWF logo. - A video package aired, highlighting last Thursday night on SmackDown, as it contested Stone Cold Steve Austin beating Mideon and Viscera in a handicap match to get himself into the four-man contenders match in the main event, also featuring Kane, The Undertaker and The Rock. It was chaos, as 'Taker and Rock began to brawl out to the ringside area, as Austin and Kane battled in the ring. In the end though, it was Austin that delivered a Stunner to Kane for the win! Austin then stared the WWF Champion, Kurt Angle down as SmackDown went off the air (A*) - The opening video package for RAW is WAR airs, as we cut to the live arena, where pyrotechnics go off, and the audience pop loudly as RAW is WAR is live from San Jose, California tonight! Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler began to introduce us to tonight's edition of RAW is WAR, as they hype up a big match for tonight, contesting The Rock taking on the 'Big Red Machine', Kane! (A*) - The theme of Kurt Angle played throughout the arena, as the audience began to boo loudly, anticipating the arrival of the WWF Champion, Kurt Angle! Angle made his way out to the ring, wearing his tracksuit, as he climbed into the ring, suffering limitless boos. Angle had a microphone in hand, as he began to speak about how he is annoyed that an Olympic Gold Medallist like himself is in threat of losing a championship he deserves rightfully, to a Texan rebel who doesn't deserve the title in any way, Stone Cold Steve Austin! The crowd pop as we hear Austin's name, causing Austin's name to be chanted. Angle says that he deserves better and at Royal Rumble, however, he s willing to put it on the line and prove to everybody that Kurt Angle is more than a paper champion coward who cannot beat a bald headed rebel like Austin. That's when Disturbed plays throughout the arena, as the crowd pop extremely loudly for the 'Texas Rattlesnake'! Austin makes his way out to the ring, as he scares Angle off to ringside, Austin getting on each turnbuckle to taunt to the adoring fans! Austin has a microphone in hand, as he speaks about not wanting to hurt Angle out here tonight because he doesn't want to get denied of a shot at the WWF Championship by injuring Angle. Austin says that in New Orleans though, on January 21st 2001, the whole world will see Stone Cold Steve Austin standing over Kurt Angle's body as the new WWF Champion! He goes to say 'And that's the bottom line, 'cause Stone Cold says so', but is cut off by Vince McMahon's theme! The crowd boo, and chant 'bunghole', as the Chairman of the WWF has returned to RAW tonight! Vince says that Austin has disgraced his daughter, Stephanie over the three weeks he has been absent from RAW in, and he knows there is no way of getting Austin out of the WWF Championship picture now. McMahon introduces us to ten security guards, as he says that Austin is banned from the arena officially tonight, and if Austin fights off these guards, he will never get another shot at the WWF Championship again! Austin reluctantly follows the security out of the ring! (A*, B+) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 1 ] - Raven defeated Crash Holly to retain the WWF Hardcore Championship This was a decent way to start off RAW is WAR in the ring tonight, as it pitted the WWF Hardcore Champion, Raven, making his third defense this year of the title against the younger cousin of Hardcore, Crash Holly. Molly Holly accompanied Crash out to the ring tonight, and she played her role quite well, in tossing Crash weapons from Raven's shopping cart. Crash could of easily won the match with a stop sign shot to the temple, but he kept on fighting, wearing down the champion. Crash clapped the two trash can lids against the sides of Raven's head, as he continued his offense by hitting a DDT, which also could of finished Raven off. Hardcore Holly ran down to the ring during the bout, as he went for the Alabama Slam on Raven, but he slipped out, Raven nailed Hardcore with a trash can lid, before rolling Crash up with the tights for the win! (C) - Raven began to celebrate following his victory over the three Holly Cousins, as he rolled out of the ring and ran through the crowd, celebrating with his WWF Hardcore Championship belt! Hardcore, Crash and Molly were left stood in the ring, pissed off. - We cut to the backstage hallway, as Kane was stood by, and he seemed to be talking to himself! Kane laughed sadistically, as Kane asked himself why he had to do it. He then accepted whatever his mind was telling him, headbutting the wall! Kane fell to the floor, seated, as Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler called him a pyscho! (B+) - Cutting to the office of Vince McMahon, the crowd boos, as Vince is on the phone to his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, as Vince promises to try and keep order with Stone Cold Steve Austin as long as he isn't in the arena, persuading Stephanie to come. The WWF European Champion, William Regal then enters, as Vince tells Stephanie he has to go. Vince asks what he can do for William, as Regal requests a match tonight with the 'Texas Rattlesnake' Stone Cold Steve Austin! Vince asks why in the hell would he want to do that. Regal says he beat him two weeks ago, and he says he could take Austin's liscence for a WWF Championship shot away tonight, if Regal were to beat him! Vince laughs evilly, as he nods his head! (B+) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 2 ] - We cut to the interview section, as Jonathan Coachman is stood by with Eddie Guerrero. Coach asks Guerrero about tonight and his current situation with Chris Benoit. Guerrero says that it's a touchy subject right now and he doesn't want to discuss it. (B+) - The Dudley Boyz defeated Right To Censor in a tables match This was a decent tag team tables match here, contested between the 'Wizards of the Wicked Wood', D-Von and Bubba Ray, taking on Bull Buchanan and The Goodfather. Goodfather and D-Von Dudley started things off, as Goodfather seemed to have the size advantage, but D-Von chopped him down quickly anyways! D-Von tagged in Bubba Ray, as the two Dudley Boyz delivered an athletic flapjack on Goodfather, Goodfather being worked over and kept well away from partner, Bull Buchanan. Nobody accompanied the Right To Censor to ringside tonight, strangely enough, as Buchanan took Bubba down with a harsh bicycle kick! RTC began to regain momentum, as the standard tag rules went right out of the window. Steven Richards then came to ringside to boos, collecting a table from under the ring! D-Von came off of the top rope with a suicide dive however, stealing the table from Richards! D-Von and Bubba set it up in the ring, as Godfather went to run at Bubba, only to get the 3D through the wood! (C+) - The Dudley Boyz celebrated their victory, as The Goodfather struggled on the floor, among the broken bits of wood and table. Bull Buchanan then jumped D-Von Dudley, taking him down, but Bubba Ray Dudley tackled him! Val and Steven Richards arrived in the ring, as those two took Bubba down! Right To Censor stood tall in the ring! (C-) - A graphic hypes us up for the upcoming match between The Rock and Kane, as both men are seen walking down respective corridors. Their match is up next! (A*) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 3 ] - Kane defeated The Rock by disqualification This was an entertaining contest here, as it pitted the 'Big Red Machine' taking on the 'Great One', in what was really a grand performance by both men. The Rock didn't go for his showoff entrance, instead he just rushed down the rampway into the ring, to battle Kane, already waiting in the ring. Rock delivered numerous lefts and rights in the early goings of the bout, only for Kane to absorb them, as Kane managed to deliver uppercuts to battle out of Rock's growing offense. Kane worked over using lefts and rights, as Kane landed a snake eye's on Rock! Kane followed up with a big boot to the temple of Rock, as Kane worked over Rock, bodyslamming the babyface repeatedly! The fans chanted 'Rocky', as Kane had a chinlock applied, before Rock broke free of Kane's offense, Rock nailing the spinebuster on Kane! Rock seemed to be setting up for the final People's Elbow, but Kane sat up when Rock went to drop the elbow! Kane grabbed Rock by the throat and Chokeslammed him, as the audience booed loudly! The Undertaker then came out from the backstage area, making his way down the rampway! Kane looked at 'Taker, as his older brother got into the ring and began to trade blows with Kane! (A*) - Kane and The Undertaker continued to trade blows, as the audience popped louder! 'Taker delivered a big uppercut to Kane, stunning the 'Big Red Machine', before following up with a clothesline sending Kane up and over the top rope! The Rock then delivered a Rock Bottom out of nowhere on 'Taker! Rock then left to a pop! (A*) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 4 ] - We go to the live arena, as the theme of Chris Benoit plays throughout the arena to boos! The WWF Intercontinental Champion, Benoit then walks out to the arena, walking down the rampway accompanied by the Radicalz, Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko and Terri. Benoit climbs into the ring, as Benoit climbs into the ring and takes a microphone from Lilian Garcia. Benoit begins to talk about how he has done some things recently that haven't been the best. He's done something he isn't proud of, such as ruining a friendship with a great man. Benoit says that last Thursday night on SmackDown, him and Eddie Guerrero suffered a loss to the Hardy Boyz, and after the match, he attacked Eddie. Benoit invites Guerrero out to the ring to apologize to Eddie, as it takes moments for Guerrero's theme to play! Eddie then stormed out down the rampway, as he rushes down the rampway and climbs into the ring! Guerrero takes Benoit down with numerous lefts and rights, as Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko attempt to break the fight up! The Radicalz have disassembled before our eyes tonight! (B+, C) - An advertisement airs, hyping up the next WWF pay-per-view extravaganza, as Royal Rumble is live on pay-per-view on Sunday 21st January 2001, from New Orleans, Louisiana! - Edge and Christian defeated Kaientai to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships This was a pretty decent match-up here, as it contested two solid teams here, one team full of ultra-cocky personality, and the other full of pure Japanese athleticism. TAKA Michinoku and Funaki didn't do their pre-match 'EVIL' initiation, instead they ran down the rampway and traded blows with Edge and Christian in the ring! Edge took down Funaki, eliminating him from the equation, before the champions took Michinoku down with a double suplex. Christian and TAKA remained in the ring, both men previously having a match over the WWF Light-Heavyweight Championship, back in 1998. Christian beat Michinoku down, before Funaki got the final tag! Funaki got in a few shots, but Christian nailed Funaki with the Unprettier for the win! (C+) - Edge and Christian celebrate their victory over Kaientai, the WWF Tag Team Championships in hand, as Edge grabs a microphone. Edge tells the fans that they have a message for the Hardy Boyz. That Edge and Christian will totally own their asses on January 21st! (B-) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 5 ] - We go to the parking lot, as Just Joe was walking out to see Stone Cold Steve Austin. Joe informed Austin that he can come back into the arena, as he has a match in tonight's main event against the WWF European Champion, William Regal. Austin accepts, then asking Joe if he is a security guard. Joe says he isn't, Austin then jumps Joe! Austin tosses Joe into the wall then walks back into the arena! (C+) - We go to the interview section, as Kevin Kelly was standing by with Test, as Kelly asked Test about his current situation with Albert and Trish Stratus. Test says that Albert is a lone man. Test says a guy told him that Trish didn't want any of Albert nor him. Test says screw Trish, plotting revenge on Albert on SmackDown, Thursday! William Regal then wanders on-screen, with the WWF European Championship around his waist. Regal says hello to Kelly, as Test asks Regal what the hell he is doing. Regal just says that he wanted to say hello, no problem. Regal wanders off, as Test seems pissed at Regal! Test yells at Kevin Kelly, saying he wants that belt! (C-) - Rikishi defeated Scotty 2 Hotty This was a match contesting two former good friends, as Too Cool member Scotty 2 Hotty took on ex-Too Cool member, Rikishi. Rikishi wore his tights again here, thankfully covering his ass. Scotty was accompanied by Grandmaster Sexay actually, as Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler simply continued to put over Rikishi and his feud with Chris Jericho. Rikishi pretty much tossed Scotty all around the ring, delivering a stiff super kick to Scotty before still pulling off the Stinkface to Scotty! Rikishi then hip-splashed Scotty in the corner, leading to a Banzai Drop for the win! (C+) - Rikishi began to celebrate his victory, as Grandmaster Sexay grabbed a steel-chair from ringside, going over to Rikishi to nail the big man! Sexay struck Rikishi in the spine with the chair, but it did no effect! Rikishi super-kicked Sexay's lights out, as he palced Sexay on top of Scotty 2 Hotty! Rikishi goes to the second turnbuckle, going to go for a double-bonanza Banzai Drop! But 'Y2J', Chris Jericho rushed down the rampway! Jericho dragged Rikishi down and traded shots with Rikishi, hitting a step-up enziguri to Rikishi, causing the big man to fall through the ropes to the floor! Jericho stood tall and attended to Too Cool! (B-) - We go to the office of Vince McMahon, as he seems to be thinking up new ideas aloud. Vnce reminds us that the Royal Rumble is only thirteen days away, live on pay-per-view, but we still don't have a number thirty entrant. Vince comes up with a grand idea, a four-way over-the-top-rope battle royal match for SmackDown between Chris Jericho, Kane, William Regal and Rikishi with the winner getting the number thirty spot! (B) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 6 ] - We cut to the catering room, as Billy Gunn is talking to his old partner, Road Dogg, with no K-Kwik in sight! Gunn says to Dogg that they had a good run, as Road Dogg shakes his hand before leaving. Bubba Ray Dudley's voice was heard at that point, as the Dudley Boyz stormed onto the scene, pissed off that Gunn didn't come out to rescue them after Right To Censor attacked them earlier! Gunn says to them that he's sorry, as Bubba tells Billy he doesn't have to take this crap. He leaves, as D-Von tells Gunn that he will let him off this time. Next time, he will be getting some wood... (C+) - Ivory defeated Jacqueline This wasn't too grand of a womens match here, as it was just slotted in before the big main event upcoming, between Stone Cold Steve Austin and William Regal. Ivory got in some sluggish shots on Jacqueline, but Jackie managed to battle back with some kicks. Jackie is actually pretty good in the ring, really. The audience weren't too into it, but popped a few times for Jacqueline. The audience booed Ivory in this one, well half of them did. Jacqueline went for the sunset flip, but Ivory remained sat up, covering Jacqueline, and unbeknownst to official, Mike Sparks, Ivory had her hands on the ringropes! (D) - Ivory celebrated with the WWF Womens Championship, as she signalled to Chyna that she'd break her neck once and for all at the Royal Rumble! - We see Stone Cold Steve Austin and William Regal walk down respective corridors, as their match is up next! (A) - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 7 ] - Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated William Regal in a non-title match This was an amazing main event to close down this edition of RAW is WAR, as it featured the WWF European Champion, William Regal battle the 'Texas Rattlesnake' Stone Cold Steve Austin in a must-win situation for Austin, as if Regal was to win here, Austin would be denied of a WWF Championship match permanently! Regal was stuck-up and cocky early on, knowing he had a previous victory over Austin, as Austin seemed to manhandle Regal in the early goings of the bout. Austin landed the Lou Thesz press, among numerous lefts and rights and numerous other moves to keep Regal under control. But Kurt Angle eventually came to ringside, as the WWF Champion was out to distract Austin! Regal then took Austin down with some technical based moves, to keep Austin down on the canvas for moments. Austin got his skull cut open in there, as Regal delivered a thunderous uppercut, and relied on his stiff punches to keep Austin under control! Austin eventually fought back, however, as he eventually nailed Regal with a Stunner! Angle tried to break up Austin's momentum but got a Stunner too! Austin covered Regal for the win! (A*) - Stone Cold Steve Austin began to celebrate his victory, as the 'Texas Rattlesnake' stood tall over an unconscious WWF Champion, Kurt Angle, as RAW is WAR went off the air!

Jakked: Viscera defeated Ron Waterman (D)

Jakked: The APA defeated Lo Down (C)

Jakked: Albert defeated Chris Harris (C)

Match #1: Raven defeated Crash Holly to retain the WWF Hardcore Championship; Also featured Hardcore Holly and Molly Holly (C)

Match #2: The Dudley Boyz defeated Right To Censor in a tables match (C+)

Match #3: Kane defeated The Rock by disqualification (A*)

Match #4: Edge and Christian defeated Kaientai (C+)

Match #5: Rikishi defeated Scotty 2 Hotty (C+)

Match #6: Ivory defeated Jacqueline in a non-title match (D)

Match #7: Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated William Regal (A*)

Solid promo to open up Raw, liked McMahon banning Austin, takes me back. Hardcore match was alright, Raven/Hardcore could be decent. 24/7 rule please. Vince/Regal segment was good, nice set up for the match later on in the night. Tag Table match was fine, don't really care for the Dudley's/RTC feud, hopefully the Dudley's go over it soon. Kane/Taker/Rock stuff was interesting, hopefully Rock/Taker is being saved for Mania. Benoit/Guerrero segment was a good way to further that feud. E&C going over Kai En Tai was fine, nothing really grand. Liked the Test/Regal, unique way to start off a feud between the 2. Glad Rikishi went over Scotty, don't know how I feel about a Y2J/Rikishi feud but intrigued to see who goes over. Solid main event between Austin & Regal there, Austin winning was expected but it was good nonetheless.
Overall a decent show, seemed to be lacking that certain edge but I'm really digging this diary at the moment, keep it up.

I am really looking forward to Steve Austin versus Kurt Angle at the Royal Rumble. I love Vince McMahon kicking Steve Austin out of the arena and the stipulation that if Steve Austin is to attack any of them, he will never get the title shot again. I am happy that Raven is actually making the Hardcore championship look like a solid title. The Kane segment was intense, I like that you are building up the character. William Regal actually being made to look like a strong force is cool, though I know Steve Austin will defeat him. I like Eddie Guerrero declining to comment on the Chris Beniot situation. The Dudley Boyz defeating Right to Censor in a tables match was cool and a good change of pace. I like that Right to Censor was able to get their heat back after the match. I love Undertaker coming out and attacking Kane as that makes their rivalry stronger. I love The Rock hitting the Rock Bottom out of nowhere! I love Eddie Guerrero completely snapping and destroying Chris Beniot as the Radicalz try to break it up. Edge and Christian retaining makes sense, I can not disagree there. I could care less about the Austin segment. Rikishi picking up the victory over his former friend was pretty neat. I love Grandmaster Sexay trying to attacking Rikishi but failing. Chris Jericho coming out to stop Rikishi was also good. The match for the # 30 spot is grand. Ivory defeating Jacqueline is decent, but nothing special. Steve Austin winning was great, but expected. I love seeing Regal in the main event scene, I hope it continues. Your table at the end of the show is missing the main event FYI. Overall, a good show.

Raw was a solid show Dan, I would comment on everything but I am quite tired. I did read the entire show though and I was very happy with it. I recall you pushing William Regal really hard in your previous 2001, I hope that happens in this diary as well. Austin vs Regal getting an A* made me smile. It's shocking that you're running three diaries at the moment but arn't slowing down. Well done.

Thursday 11th January, 2001 Oakland Coliseum; Oakland, California Taped on Tuesday 9th January, 2001 - The opening signature to all WWF programming airs, showing numerous clips of the RAW stage with pyrotechnics going off, before cutting to the WWF logo. - A video package airs, recapping us to last Monday night on RAW is WAR, in which Vince McMahon banned Stone Cold Steve Austin from the arena, only for William Regal to come up with a grand idea; a match against Austin and if Regal wins, Austin will never have a WWF Championship match in his life as long as Angle is the champion. Austin defeated William Regal and took out Kurt Angle as RAW went off the air, this past Monday. (A) - The opening video package for SmackDown airs, as we cut to the live arena, where pyrotechnics go off, and the audience pop for tonight's edition of SmackDown on UPN! Michael Cole and Jerry "King" Lawler are at ringside for commentary tonight, as they hype the press conference between Stone Cold Steve Austin and WWF Champion, Kurt Angle. Plus, a four-man over-the-top rope battle royal between Rikishi, William Regal, Kane and Chris Jericho for the number thirty spot in the Royal Rumble match! B- - Jeff Hardy with Matt Hardy and Lita defeated Edge with Christian (6:47) This was a great way to kick off WWF SmackDown tonight with Team Xtreme making their way out to the ring firstly, followed by the WWF Tag Team Champions, Edge and Christian. Edge and Jeff were competing tonight, as Christian aswell as Lita and Matt Hardy were all at ringside. Jeff started off with alot of offense, blowing some steam off on Edge with numerous crossbodies and it looked like the energetic Hardy could of taken the win pretty easily, but unfortunately, Edge kept managing to kick out before the three. Edge then began to regain momentum, as Christian tripped a running Jeff up, whilst he was going off of the ropes. Jeff was worked over, as Edge pounded at Hardy, but when he tried going for the Spear, Jeff leap-frogged and nailed a sudden Twist of Fate! Hardy landed the Swanton Bomb as Matt Hardy kept a hold of an interfering Christian's foot, as Jeff got three! B- - Christian takes Jeff Hardy down with a spear RIGHT after Hardy had picked up the win, as the WWF Tag Team Champions then began to pummel at Jeff before Matt came from behind, taking down men down with a double clothesline! Jeff was helped up by Matt, as the two performed Poetry in Motion on Christian AND Edge, both men falling to the canvas, as Matt asked them if they wanted to play dirty. Matt challenged them for their WWF Tag Team Championships for Royal Rumble! Edge and Christian reluctantly accepted! B- - We go to the backstage area, as Kurt Angle is standing in the parking lot, wearing a suit with the WWF Championship, as a limousine pulls up, the WWF Chairman, Vince McMahon stepping out to loud boos! Angle and Vince walk through to one of the hallways, as they discuss Stone Cold Steve Austin and if he attacks Austin in tonight's press conference. The two walk ahead as the camera stays at one specific place... A* - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 1 ] - We return to the hallway, where Vince McMahon and WWF Champion, Kurt Angle are seen walking down a corridor now, as Vince concludes, saying that tonight, if Austin makes physical contact with Angle, he will be barred from competing for the WWF Championship ever again! A* - We go to the interview section, as Kevin Kelly was standing by with Albert, as Albert isn't wearing a shirt, only trunks, as Albert says that last Monday night when T&A disbanded, Trish Stratus left, and it was all because of Test! Albert says that he is being reborn, and tonight, he will show it, when he faces Test! C- - Val and Ivory defeated Crash and Molly Holly (3:51) This was actually pretty decent for a match involving two WWE divas. Val and Ivory took on Crash and Molly Holly in this bout, as Crash and Val started things off, no Steven Richards at ringside tonight, confusingly. Val had some technical offense, as he took Crash down repeatedly. This match, under intergender rules, meant that only women could fight women and men fight men. Crash gave Val a desperation DDT before tagging in Molly, as the two women put on a decent showing, actually, a Lou Thesz press from Molly. Crash took Val out of the ring with a clothesline, taking him out too, as the men battled at ringside! Molly Holly came off of the top with the Molly-Go-Round, but Val got back into the ring, as Steven Richards appeared, distracting the official! Val delivered a powerbomb to Molly, and Ivory covered for the win! C- - Val and Ivory begin to celebrate over the unconscious Molly Holly, as Crash Holly helped Molly out of the ring and up the rampway, as Billy Gunn rushed down the rampway! Ivory fleed the ring, as Gunn and Val traded shots! Gunn landed the Fame-Asser on Val, as the Right To Censor members left the arena! Gunn says that later on, his girlfriend, Chyna will be making a statement in a special interview! Gunn then left. C-, B- - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 2 ] - We cut to the backstage area, as the WWF Hardcore Champion, Raven was sat on a crate, as Jonathan Coachman asked him about his current state in the hardcore division, and how the 'Year of the Raven' was going so far. K-Kwik was heard yelling, as he had a referee with him! C - Raven outlasted K-Kwik to retain the WWF Hardcore Championship (2:49) This was an impromptu bout contested under 24/7 rules, as Raven got pushed off of the cart by K-Kwik pushing it into the wall! K-Kwik delivered numerous punches to the WWF Hardcore Champion, as Raven kneed K-Kwik in the gut in desperation. Raven began to battle back, shoving K-Kwik into the wall then sandwiching him between the wall and the cart! Road Dogg came out of nowhere, as he slammed a trash can over Raven's head! Raven fell out of sight, as Hardcore Holly and Steve Blackman then appeared, brawling with both K-Kwik and Road Dogg! Raven slipping out of the picture! C - We cut to the backstage area, as Terri is with Perry Saturn, as the two seem to be romanced-out, Perry pouring two coffees in the catering room. Dean Malenko walks in, about to say 'hey', but Perry storms off, Terri and Dean left looking concerned. Cole and King hyped Eddie Guerrero and Perry Saturn taking on Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit later on. C- - We cut to the parking lot, as Stone Cold Steve Austin steps out his 4x4 and begins to make his way into the arena, prepared for the press conference later on! A* - [ C O M M E R C I AL # 3 ] - Kane defeated William Regal, Rikishi and Chris Jericho in a four-man battle royal to become #30 in the Royal Rumble (9:37) This was a solid contest actually here, contesting four upper-card performers all battling it out for the final position in the Royal Rumble match, number thirty. Kane and William Regal seemed to brawl a bit, suprisingly enough. Regal just immediately went for Kane, and struck the 'Big Red Machine' with numerous stiff european uppercuts, aswell as a knee to the temple, that was harsh. Chris Jericho just immediately dived at Rikishi, taking the 'Phat Man' down and pounded on him. Regal applied the Regal Stretch on Kane, before Jericho went after Regal, trying to eliminate him. Kane and Rikishi, the two larger men in this match then battled, as Kane seemed to try and eliminate Rikishi quickly, but Rikishi had none of it. Regal attempted to run at Kane, but was tossed over the top rope at the 5:36 mark. Kane and Rikishi meanwhile continued combat, as Kane grabbed Rikishi by the throat and appeared to be setting up for elimination, and Y2J shoved Kane forward, eliminating Rikishi at the 7:02 mark! Kane then chased Jericho around the ring, before Jericho went to bounce off of the ropes, but Rikishi pulled the top rope down, Jericho being eliminated at 9:37! B - Kane begins to celebrate his win, setting off the pyrotechnics, as Chris Jericho grabbed a steelchair and slammed it into Rikishi's skull! The crowd popped as Jericho dived on Rikishi with lefts and rights! Many officials had to drag Y2J away from Rikishi as Rikishi tried to get back up! B - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 4 ] - We go to a room where Jim Ross is seated, as he introduces us to the sit-down interview with Chyna, some six weeks following her neck injury was sustained at the hands of the Right To Censor. Chyna was spike piledriven on her head by Bull Buchanan and The Goodfather, and since then, WWF Womens Champion, Ivory, in particular, has been kicking the wounded lion. Chyna says that that wounded lion has now recovered though, and she had gone through some intense rehabilitation, but now it seemed like the time was right, to stand up and take charge. Chyna thanks Billy Gunn, Jim Ross and everybody in the World Wrestling Federation, aswell as the fans for their support through this rough patch, but now she wants Ivory more than ever, to just get slaughtered. Chyna announces her return to the ring being in ten days at Royal Rumble, against Ivory for the WWF Womens Championship! She then got up, tearing off her neckbrace and slamming it on the table. C - Perry Saturn and Eddie Guerrero defeated Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko (7:42) This was a great match here, between the two split-up halves of The Radicalz. Perry Saturn seemed to of turned face, as he entered to a decent reaction with Eddie Guerrero. Chris Benoit and Perry Saturn started things off, as both men traded heavy-hitting shots, mainly fast-paced and technical offense. Eddie Guerrero got the tag from Saturn, but Benoit seemed reluctant to compete, watsting no time in tagging Dean Malenko in. Terri came down the rampway midmatch, as both teams didn't notice her prescense. Malenko got some boos, pretty suprising considering he usually gets a dead reaction from the crowd. Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko eventually started brawling at ringside, as Chris Benoit tried to sneak up on Eddie Guerrero witha german suplex, Eddie reversed, took Benoit to the canvas and made him tap out to his own move - the Crossface! B - Eddie Guerrero kept the Crossface applied, as the audience popped loudly, having made the WWF Intercontinental Champion, Chris Benoit tap out! Many officials had to drag Guerrero away! - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 5 ] - We go to Michael Cole and Jerry "King" Lawler, as they hype up the current card for Royal Rumble, live on pay-per-view on Sunday 21st January 2001, featuring the thirty-man Royal Rumble match; Kurt Angle vs Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF Championship; Edge and Christian vs The Hardy Boyz for the WWF Tag Team Championships; Ivory vs Chyna for the WWF Womens Championship; and just added, Eddie Guerrero vs Chris Benoit for the WWF Intercontinental Championship! B- - Test defeated Albert by disqualification (5:45) This was a decent match-up here, as Albert seemed to be less restricted in the ring than he was wearing the leather pants and shirt combination. Test delivered some nice shots as the audience adored Test, and didn't like Albert. Albert certainly has grown on some fans, however. Albert managed to battle back with a stiff clothesline, beginning to ground Test and keep him on the floor. Test managed to battle back, however, as Test eventually fought back, nailing a diving elbow drop from the top rope, with great agility! Test went for his Big Boot, but Albert evacuated the ring, as Albert grabbed a steelchair from ringside. He then re-entered the ring and nailed Test with the chair in sight of the official! C - Albert continued his attack after the bell, as Albert delivered a Baldo Bomb to the referee! Albert then picked up a bleeding Test, lifting him over his shoulders and crucifix bombing him over the top rope to the floor! Albert screamed in celebration to boos. C - Raven was shown in the parking lot, out of breath, as Jonathan Coachman was standing by with the fatiged WWF Hardcore Champion. Raven says that it's good to be the champ and the king of hardcore in the World Wrestling Federation. That's when Road Dogg and K-Kwik ran up from the hallway behind him, causing Raven to jet away! C+ - We go to The Undertaker, as he is seated on his bike, Kevin Kelly standing by with 'Taker. The 'American Badass' tells Kelly to get away, as he begins to talk about how tonight he has been watching Kane, Rikishi, William Regal and Chris Jericho all fight it out, but in the end, there will most likely be two people left in the ring, out of those four and the 'Deadman', and that will be him and his brother, Kane. 'Taker says he will be working with Kane if all hell gets in the way, but 'Taker will forever be thinking about himself, and will be going after Kane when that hell is away from the path to victory! 'Taker rides away on his motorcycle. A* - We see Stone Cold Steve Austin and WWF Champion, Kurt Angle down seperate corridors, as their press conference is up next! - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 6 ] - We go to the live arena, as a red carpet was down in the ring, and the theme of the Chairman, Vince McMahon played throughout the arena, signalling boos from the crowd. Vince McMahon walked down the rampway, as he got into the ring, where there was also two steel chairs and a table with a contract on, as Vince began to talk, only to be jeered by 'bunghole' chants. McMahon eventually let out a big yell, telling them to shut up, but that only triggered louder boos. Vince stated that it was officially set in stone that Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kurt Angle would meet at the Royal Rumble for the WWF Championship, but this contract needs to be officially signed. Vince warns us of the rules, as if Austin was to attack Angle during this segment, he would be banned from another WWF Championship shot aslong as Angle was champion. Kurt Angle's theme then played, as the WWF Champion walked down the rampway to boos, the champ wearing a suit. Angle climbed into the ring and stated that him and Austin have been adversaries because of Austin's refusal to respect others. Angle says that is not the credible champion in which the World Wrestling Federation needs. Angle signs the contract, finishing off his promo by saying that he wants Austin to give him his all to try and prove to Angle that he is worthy as a credible champion. Stone Cold Steve Austin's theme then played, as the audience cheered loudly for the 'Texas Rattlesnake'! Austin came out in his usual gear, losing the seriousness of the angle, as Austin began to talk about how Angle hasn't been in the company for five [meterphorical] minutes and he thinks he is a credible champion because he is a gentlemen suckup with the WWF Championship via cheating? Austin calls Angle a geek, and saying that he never liked geeks in highschool. Austin wraps it up by saying that at Royal Rumble, Angle would find a mudhole in his ass after Austin walks him dry! Austin signs the contract, but Angle shoves the table up in his face! The crowd boo, as Vince mischievously grins, Angle stomping away at Austin! Angle nails the Angle Slam on Austin, as he stands tall with the WWF Championship in hand, while SmackDown goes off the air! A* WWF SmackDown Results Jeff Hardy defeated Edge (B-) Val and Ivory defeated Crash and Molly Holly (C-) Raven outlasted K-Kwik to retain the WWF Hardcore Championship (C) Kane defeated William Regal, Rikishi and Chris Jericho to gain the #30 spot in the Royal Rumble (B) Perry Saturn and Eddie Guerrero defeated Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko (B) Test defeated Albert by disqualification (C)

I like the opening contest as it allows a tag team feud between the two teams continue. I was surprised to see Jeff Hardy win, but I don’t disagree with the decision. There match at the Royal Rumble should be solid. Interesting segment between Kurt Angle and Vince McMahon and I love Steve Austin getting banned from the WWF Championship if he touches Kurt Angle. Albert versus Test should be decent. The tag team match seemed decent and Val picking up a victory with Ivory was good. I like Gunn attacking RTC for Chyna. YES! Raven is still hardcore champion! Raven is gold, push him to the moon. Interesting segment with Saturn and friends. Kane becoming the number 30 spot in the Royal Rumble makes sense, but I can not see him winning. I loved Y2J destroying Rikishi after the match. Cute Chyna segment, nicely written. The tag match should have gone longer as that match would have been amazing. I dislike Beniot tapping to the crossface, I think that makes him come off weak. Test getting a win is cool, maybe a push for him would be nice. I love Albert really destroying everyone after the match, I wonder what this will lead too. Raven is very sneaky. Undertaker’s segment was amazing, I loved it. The closing segment was amazing and so far the highlight of this diary as I absolutely loved t. Overall, another good show. My only complaint is that Test versus Albert was the main event match.

WWF SIGNS LUCHADORE!; WWF CONTINUES TO DOMINATE WCW WORLDWIDE; WWF INTERESTED IN SABU? Posted by Daniel Tomlinson on 09/01/2001 at 11:29
-- The World Wrestling Federation's internationally viewed primetime show, RAW is WAR prevailed as the victors on their night in the Monday Night Wars with rivalling company, World Championship Wrestling and their Monday night program, Nitro. Though down from last week, this week's RAW received a 4.21 rating, as the show aired from 9pm until 11, as the viewing audience watching TNN peaked during the beginning of the second hour, and lowered by the time of the final half hour. WCW Monday Nitro meanwhile received a 2.5 rating, as their show also aired from 9-11pm, on TNT. Nitro went up 0.3 from last week.
-- In the United Kingdom, WWF also seem to be doing well, as RAW, aired on a Friday night from 10pm-12am on Sky Sports 1 was shown to 497,231 people, peaking in the beginning of the second hour and dropping for the final thirty minutes. WCW Monday Nitro meanwhile, aired from Fridays from 9:30-11:30 was shown to an audience of 170,452, peaking in the first half-hour, and then dropping to its lowest by the final half hour.
-- WWF SmackDown, aired on UPN from 8:30-10:30pm, received a 4.2 rating. The show rating peaked from the main event, but started at its weakest during the first half hour. WCW Thunder, aired on TBS from 8:30-10:30pm, received a 1.8 rating, peaking at the second half hour and weakest at its opening half hour.
-- Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, SmackDown is aired from 10am-12pm on Sky One, and this week was watched by 536,340 people, peaking at its second half hour and at its lowest at its final half hour. WCW Thunder is not viewed in the United Kingdom.
-- The World Wrestling Federation are in negotiations with Chris Candido. Candido was in the World Wrestling Federation in 1995, under the name 'Skip' in a team called the Bodydonnas. They were managed by Tammy-Lee 'Sunny' Sytche, as Candido and Sytche were an item. They were, however, caught up in the tension of the Kliq, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart, as those two brought Sytche into their feud, also. Candido and Sytche left for ECW in 1997, but Vince McMahon has made it clear to Candido that such happenings will not repeat this time around.
-- The WWF are reportedly interested in Sabu. Sabu is an alumni of Extreme Championship Wrestling, and is currently working in Xtreme Pro Wrestling.
-- The World Wrestling Federation have signed Juventud Guerrera. Odds are he is here to rebuild the dying WWF Light-Heavyweight Championship division.

I would love Chris Candido and Sabu coming in as I think they could bring something new to the table. Juvi coming in for the Light-Heavyweight Division would also be good. WCW had some decent matches this week and I wonder if their ratings will start to increase.

Sunday 14th January 2001 Oakland Coliseum; Oakland, California Taped on Tuesday 9th January 2001; Aired on MTV and MTV UK - The opening signature to all WWF programming airs, showing numerous clips of the RAW stage with pyrotechnics going off, before cutting to the WWF logo. - A video package airs from reviewing us back to Monday night, when RAW is WAR took place, involving Stone Cold Steve Austin being banned from the arena, then allowed back into the arena to face William Regal in a must-win situation, as Austin had to win to retain his WWF Championship match with Kurt Angle at the Royal Rumble. Austin was triumphant. Then, on SmackDown, it was scheduled to be the press conference for Royal Rumble's match, as Angle and Austin met with Vince McMahon managing the situation, and if Austin touched Angle, he would be banned from another WWF title shot! Austin was then laid out by the WWF Champion, Angle, as SmackDown cut away! A* - The opening video montage airs, setting us up for the introduction of this week's edition of Sunday Night Heat! We go to the live arena, as we are wasting no time getting down to business, as Michael Cole and Tazz inform us that this show will be headlined by British Bulldog taking on D'Lo Brown of Lo-Down! C- - Steve Blackman defeated Hardcore Holly (6:27) This wasn't really the greatest match in the world, as here, the two men who have been hell bent on trying to regain the WWF Hardcore Championship from Raven battled it out here. Blackman tried to start the battle with his sticks in hand, but the official took them away from the 'Lethal Weapon'. Hardcore Holly then began to battle back, putting up a fight with his stiff lefts and rights. Blackman then had to use his feet, as the 'Lethal Weapon' did use his high-impact kicks and agility to keep on top of Holly. Holly went for his variation of the suplex, the Falcon Arrow, but Blackman landed on his feet, turned Holly around and leveled him with the Martial Arts Kick for the win! D - Steve Blackman began to celebrate his victory, as he then noticed the WWF Hardcore Champion on the rampway! Blackman spotted Raven, as the WWF Hardcore Champion darted backstage, Blackman hot in persuit! C- - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 1 ] - Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated William Regal in a non-title matchThis was an amazing main event to close down this edition of RAW is WAR, as it featured the WWF European Champion, William Regal battle the 'Texas Rattlesnake' Stone Cold Steve Austin in a must-win situation for Austin, as if Regal was to win here, Austin would be denied of a WWF Championship match permanently! (A)- Viscera and Mideon defeated Kaientai (6:29) This was another iffy match here tonight on Sunday Night Heat, as it contested the ever comical duo of TAKA Michinoku and Funaki taking on Viscera and Mideon, two former members of the Ministry of Darkness, now squandered on C shows like Heat and Jakked. TAKA Michinoku and Mideon started things off, as the audience were seemingly behind Michinoku and Funaki, as TAKA tried running away from Mideon, then diving off of the top rope to gain offense. He hit an Asai Moonsault to Viscera, but Viscera caught him on the outside and tossed him back into the ring. Mideon continued the offense, tagging in Viscera, as Michinoku eventually got a tag to Funaki! Funaki got in some shots, but Viscera and Mideon delivered a double team flapjack on Funaki for the win! D - Viscera and Mideon celebrated their victory as though it was like they had just went to the bathroom. The crowd booed. - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 2 ] - Kane defeated William Regal, Rikishi and Chris Jericho in a four-man battle royal to become #30 in the Royal Rumble (9:37) This was a solid contest actually here, contesting four upper-card performers all battling it out for the final position in the Royal Rumble match, number thirty. B- - - We go to the live arena, as a red carpet was down in the ring, and the theme of the Chairman, Vince McMahon played throughout the arena, signalling boos from the crowd. A* - [ C O M M E R C I A L # 3 ] - The British Bulldog defeated D'Lo Brown with Chaz and Tiger Ali Singh (5:23) This was a superior match in comparison to the other two bouts on this edition of Sunday Night Heat. British Bulldog and D'Lo Brown started off evenly, both men trading blows, before Bulldog began to overpower D'Lo Brown, tossing him around like a light-heavyweight. Brown managed to slip out of the Running Powerslam, however, as he then chop blocked away at the knee of Bulldog, stomping away at his left foot to try and beat away at the ankle of Bulldog. D'Lo delivered Sky-High, then preparing for his Frog Splash, but Bulldog managed to battle back, eliminating D'Lo from the ring! Tiger Ali Singh however, he came from the rear, going to nail Bulldog with his septor, but Bulldog shoved Singh away! Bulldog knocked Chaz off of the apron before D'Lo struggled around to get nailed with the Running Poweslam, leading to Bulldog's victory! C - British Bulldog celebrated his victory as Michael Cole and Tazz plugged RAW is WAR's main event being the Brothers of Destruction taking on The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, plus Chris Jericho battling Rikishi in a no disqualification match! Sunday Night Heat goes off the air.

- Nice opening match, I like that Blackman went after Raven after the match, would like to see more of this chase in the episode. - Nice win for Steve, as soon as I read non-title I knew Austin would win. - That Tag Match does nothing for me although it was pretty well written, I lol'ed at the toilet bit. - I always use to like it when people had to qualify for the number 30 spot. Wish they would do that now. - Kane winning is great, I like Big Guys at Number 30. - Austin vs Angle should be ace. - Bulldog winning is good.
Overall Great Show, I love your layout and the grades at the end of every match. A. Lol.
