Nah I think it's optional. If you don't want to write a match you shouldn't be forced too. It's the owner's responsibility to write matches that haven't been written, though I don't care if they do or don't. Well, yeah. You're right there. But when you have people complaining (and no, this is not directed at any one person) about the time it takes to get the results posted, maybe if they wrote one of the matches instead of waiting on the owners getting the time to write it, the results might go up faster. Hell, in the time it's taken to argue all of these points, someone could have gotten a good start on Bennett/Shields or the Triple Threat. Not trying to call out Trace or Thunder (who's side I'm on) but they don't write the matches so we're not waiting for them. The problem is people volunteering to write matches then taking days to actually do it. More people volunteering probably makes that problem worse. I've long been an advocate of paragraph summaries on Loaded and full matches for PPV to differentiate the two but it always falls on deaf ears, but damn if I'm not gonna keep pitching it. *hits desk*

If you're not gonna have the time to write the match, then don't volunteer to do it. Not to knock Horror since he's one of the few who actually writes the matches, but a couple of shows ago it was a week after the deadline and he posts "I'll have it done in a couple of days." If you're not gonna do it a reasonable time, don't volunteer to begin with.

I think EBR's idea of having paragraph summaries for Loaded and full matches for PPVs is a great idea that might help out with the current situation.
If there happened to be a match on one of the Loaded episodes that needed more, then it could easily be handled by the owners/matchwriters.
...and you could still have volunteers for the PPV matches.
*shrug* Seems like a win/win to me.
But, as always, that's just my opinion.

I agree.
It seems like we might get the results a lot sooner, maybe a week or so closer to the deadline.
