They really dropped the ball with Jericho's return, especially after the incredible hype surrounding it.
Hard to believe its been almost two years since he's been back.

Nothing tops Undertaker returning at Judgement Day 2000 and the next night on Raw. For me, that will NEVER be topped.

I love it just for the surprise of him being something different, and quite frankly, it was pretty badass. Other returns have had bigger pops, but I like these the most. Sorry for the bad quality, everything has been taken down Raw the next night I liked Jericho's return there too. |

They dropped the ball, to be sure, but last year and this year more than made up for it.
They didn't give him the belt because they were building up Orton as the Champion for 'Mania and wanted him to be more credible and have a lengthier reign. I'm not a fan of wrestlers coming back and getting the belt right away, either.

There was so much hype around Jericho's return with the whole save_us.222 videos, but now that I think back at it, his actual return to RAW was lackluster. Heel Jericho owns face Jericho in every single way possible.

Remember when Jeff Jarrett came back to WWE in 1997/98, showed up on Raw unannounced, and gave that "shoot" promo in the ring? That's how they should've handled Jericho's return. Everyone knew he was coming, he was so hyped, but they should've had him walk on unexpectedly and become "serious" Jericho from the get-go. Just my opinion.

its hard to top Cenas return at the Royal Rumble, but HBK's 2007 return was pretty cool too.
btw if any has a better quality video than this it would be cool if you would post it. Because this was the best i could find.

Chris Jericho's return certainly didn't let me down. It's my personal favorite. :-)
