So why did Angle have the power to book the main event over Foley?

So why did Angle have the power to book the main event over Foley? Because the Main Event Mafia controls TNA.

It was a solid show for me.
I didnt like how Joe hit the referee, it ruined a great match.
Also, Daffney gets thrown out first!?
Other than that it was good. Loved the Eric Young turn and this 'World Elite'.

So why did Angle have the power to book the main event over Foley? It's just one of those things that is never really explained in tna. For health and sanity reasons it's just best not to question the illogic of it and just bend over and take it like the rest of us. It's the same logic why Cornette can make matches one night but not have the power to do so another night. Or the same logic behind pushing your young x divsion talent then taking them completely off tv. Or having Al snow show up for no apparent reason. Or having IWGP tag champions lose to a team that's never wrestled together before. The more one tries to figure it out, the dumber one becomes. I don't know, maybe it's all the excederin I pop before, during, and after the show, but my TNA thursday night viewing has consisted of me winding up in a fetal position the rest of the night, sucking my thumb and crying myself to sleep.

July 30th, 2009THURSDAY MARKS THE 200TH EPISODE OF TNA iMPACT!On Thursday night, TNA Wrestling returns to SpikeTV at 9/8c for two hours of Total Nonstop Action with the huge 200th episode of "iMPACT!". To celebrate the occasion, TNA Wrestling is presenting the biggest event in "iMPACT!" history, featuring all of your favorite superstars! - There will be a "War Of Champions" with two World Titles on the line - Plus, what does "The God Of Thunder" Bobby Lashley have planned for The Main Event Mafia? Lashley will appear on Thursday's huge broadcast! - The event will also feature the in-ring return of Hernandez, who will face "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe! - What's next for Taz in Total Nonstop Action? Tune in and find out! - In the first match match in a "Best Of 3" series, "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan will face "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles! - In Knockouts action, it will be The Beautiful People taking on Tara, Awesome Kong and ODB - Plus, for the New Japan IWGP Tag Team Titles, it will be Team 3D defending against The British Invasion in a Tables Match All this and much more on Thursday's huge 200th episode of TNA "iMPACT!" on SpikeTV starting at 9/8c! Credit: TNAWrestling.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------iMPACT! wasn't the greatest thing, but it kept my attention... Really enjoyed Joe/Homicide, until the DQ. Actually got kinda excited to see Hernandez back, which I shocked myself. I do think they are wasting both a good tag team ( LAX ) and a good Pay-Per-View main event, by putting Joe/Hernandez next week. Still no real X-Division talent on the show again, which was a bummer. I got Homicide and Red, both in which were pretty much squashed. I need my fill of Suicide, Lethal, Sabin, Shelley... hopefully next week, since it's the 200th episode. The Legends and Tag Title matches were expected to suck and they didn't disappoint with that. It was fun watching Red bump for Nash ( poor Red ), but watching MEM vs. Foley's security was just painful. The Knockouts battle royal was a little interesting, until Traci was announced as the "Law". From that point, I knew she'd win. Was hoping to see Flash get the win and get a big push, but no... that would've made sense. Thank god I DVR'd the show, so I could fast forward through that god awful main event. RUSSO! Lashley's return was a little better, but i'm not enjoying the hype they are giving him. I have a strange feeling Angle will retain to Hard Justice and will then go on to fued with Lashley, who he eventually drops the strap to... ugh. - Triple S

This weeks iMPACT will have an extra 15 minutes. Oh so they're gonna actually wrestle this week? Well that's good. anyway, the upcoming impact looks to be watchable. the quicker they move on without centering everything around the MEM, the better
