Coming out of the Philly bracket, Danielson went up against “Dirty” Ernie Osiris in round 1 and quickly disposed of the ROH wrestling school graduate. In round 2, Dragon then went up against Ultramantis Black. Ultramantis managed to earn a few votes but could not stop the train. Mr. Small Package then destroyed the “Pretty Boy Pitbull,” Kenny King, going unblemished in the 3rd round. In the finals of the Philly bracket Danielson went one on one with “Double C” Claudio Castagnoli. In this technical dreammatch, Danielson submitted Castagnoli to defeat and marched into the final 8. In the final 8, he went up against the technical mastermind, Mike Quackenbush. Quack and Dragon went back and forth throughout the round but the Dragon ended up using Quack as roughage in his digestive track. In the final 4, the Greatest Wrestler in the World went up against the Greatest Man that ever lived. The wrestler went out on top. Danielson pushed ROH Champ Austin Aries out of tournament pretty decisively. With the win, American Dragon Bryan Danielson secured his spots in the finals.
But who would he match up against in the finals of the King of the Indies?
Making quick work in the Jersey bracket, Chris Hero took his # 1 seed and jammed it down the competition’s throat. In round 1, Hero destroyed Tweek Phoenix with a flawless victory. Round 2 saw a ménage trois of action. Hero, Jimmy Olsen, and Ruckus went for the third round and the superhero made it out with no injuries. Hero then went up against Boom Boom Colt Cabana. This 3rd round showcase wasn’t as close as many expected but it showcased why Hero was qualified to be a # 1 seed. In the finals for the Jersey bracket, Hero made very quick work of Drake Younger and then became focused on his next challenge. In the final 8, “That Young Knockout kid” knocked out Nigel McGuinness with a fierce barrage of votes cast against McGuinness(much to the delight of Supergirl). Focused on the finals, Hero looked right past young upstart Davey Richards in the final 4 and saw his righteous path head to the finals.
Final 4 results:
Danielson over Aries -21-10
Hero over Richards – 20-10

As I take this time to write one has to remember the history these two have. They were the supposed brainchild of what is quite possible the best storyline to ever happen in the Independent wrestling scene, they have been trained by some of the best that ever wrestled, ptu on some of the best matches I have ever seen and have fought multiple times all over the scene and thus are very acquainted with each other. This match will be much the same, a back and forth tug of war that will only end by pinfall, submission or knockout.
So as an end to this madness, I present to you the final voting, this time to crown the first ever King of the Indies trophy!
