This isn't new news. Tobin Bell said he is doing 9 films. So 7 isn't the last either.

I thought there was only gonna be 6? Oh well, i'm not too bothered. Sure they may not be as good as the others, but i love the Saw films.

I like Saw, but nine seems a bit much, even for me. Well VIII and IX are just rumored, hopefully it actually ends at VII, before it becomes pointless like Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday 13th.

As long as they continue to be great, that's fine. I've loved them all and the ending of the last one was amazing.

Just as much as you actually trying to force ppl to think that you're a huge expert in what Saw fans should watch...

They could make 100 Saw movies for all I care as long as they're good.

the movies are good. As long as the movies are good with such a good, and continuing, story, they'll continue to be made. As long as they continue to make tons of money in theatres and on DVD, they'll continue to be made. It's a successful movie franchise.
I'm excited. it's becoming a regular tradition for me and my friends to go see the new Saw on Halloween night, while the women take the kids out trick or treating.

Now I love SAW, but 6 should be it.
Not just because theres been so many, but because this was supposed to be THE last movie for a couple years now. The continuity will be redundant after this movie. This movie was supposed to answer all questions and tie all loose ends. But now they have to leave some still unanswered, and make up new questions by going back to the original and find out what else they can create.
They wont be making more Saw's because of the grand story they want to tell, theyre just going to make them for more money.
But dont get me wrong, like i said I love the SAW series and will probably see 7, 8 and 9. Its just that im pointing out what is obvious in my mind.

I would rather have a series explain everything in time than have it explained in ONE movie tbh.

Nightmare on Elm Street didn't get pointless, Friday The 13th did with Jason X. It did, Nightmare on Elm Street could have easily been a one movie classic. He kills people in their dreams... no need to show the same movie with different people, THEN most of the times the series turns around and they try to kill the bad guy and it just isn't needed.

Maybe, but it works as the series. If you don't like I understand as that's your opinion. Don't most movies have them going after the bad guy?
