Set looks ok but I can't see spending $40 on it. Hopefully it will clearance out or they will package it with a DVD that I need so I can get it. Thanks for the pics.

Thanks. No problem. ah well Im glad I have all the parts on hand to fix this set a DA1 head for HHH and R3 head for UT and this set will be improved tenfold.......I hope The problem with the R3 Taker heads are they are the same mold/scan and are short haired. he had long hair at WMX7...So it might be better to find a Final Count Taker head or hollow out a TTL. Click pics to enlarge R3 Takers - TTL Takers - (I think either the Top row 2nd figure for "In match" Taker or Second Row 1st for "Pre-Match" Taker would work best)

HHH looks good after you fixed him up. Just wish that headscan had slightly darker hair. As for Taker....I like him how he is for the most part. I just wish the hair was the right color for accuracy sake. If I see it for a good price, I'll pick up the Taker. Now what will pack 3 be? 1 - WM XIV - HBK/SCSA 2 - WM XVII - HHH/UT 3 - WM - ?/? I could see them maybe doing WM20? It would follow the 'every 3' pattern.

The scans for both men is a letdown. I know you PJ arent one to complain but the upside down logo is completely ridiculous. Is it a one off or mass produced error? Guess we will find out. Your torso swap as always improves it but as said the change of scan for trips is a MASSIVE improvement. Paint takers hair red and add the rocky boots and youve got a perfect set. But for an IE, so many faults is ridiculous. Enoy your set, its only going to get better the more you work on it. Not sure if it's a mass error or not. Thanks. And until I can get a TTL Taker head out of storage and modify it this will have to do - It came out darker than I wanted. I wanted it more of a wash, but I went one to many coats. Wow those look like a completely different set now by just changing those scans. The torso and boots have made triple h spot on now. Nice fixing, its now a decent set. Im sure it will be even better when you add a TTL head but i think the coats you did on the taker hair currently look quite good. Nice going mate. As far as the error thing, i guess we will find out soon enough.

Love your fix-up of Triple H, nice effort gone into it as that Torso does suit the figure far more from that era than the SHW Torso.
Just a shame Jakks didn't put as mcuh effort in with the paint work / quality control check in letting an errorness Logo mishap slipping through, real shame it just happened to be you to get one after making the figure far better looking than what Jakks had done.

I really want this being an Undertaker collector. But i am very dissapointed, seriously, both headscans are the current ones used for both their RA or DA Figures. I also hope HHH's tights design isn't upset down, what are the odds. I like your fix ups, i was thinking that trips scan would go awesome on it, also the body switch is much needed being how much more ripped he was then. Taker's completly off, the cool thing about it is the bandana and shirt, i would have loved a classic red hair ABA scan that would be sweet to finish this set.
Thanks

Loving the fix ups. I still prefer the SHW torso for some reason on HHH.

I find him to bloated for the era with that torso...especially when standing next to the Taker.

I don't think this set looks too bad really, not as bad as some people are making out at least. Maybe collectors who are more into the Current lines than Classic are just not used to how half-arsed and innaccurate CS has become because this set looks ALOT better than most recent CS releases.
The main thing other than that HUGE MISTAKE on the trunks is the heads of course, I hate that HHH scan at the best of times and especially for this Era. I think it looks great with that TTL scan so I'm baffled as to why Jakks didn't at least use the RA version of that scan even if the hair isn't the same style, I would have been happy with it straight from the box then even though I do agree that the super ripped torso and Rocky boots improve it further. The upside down logo is UNFORGIVABLE though, I'm quite positive that it can't be a one-off error because it's printed over 3 parts so the odds of getting all 3 pieces with matching errors are just too high. It's just another reason why Jakks should watch youtube if they don't know who they are making figures of. I personally have thousands of pictures in magazines and probably 10s of thousands of hours of footage that I could use for reference so it's kinda obscene that a huge company like Jakks can't even do a quick internet search before pumping out a whole run of expensive-to-buy but cheap-to-produce figures. Especially when it's an attire like this that alot of people have waited a long time for. Maybe they'll do a second run with a change, that's if someone tells them because they obviously won't notice.
I actually think the Undertaker scan would be near perfect if they'd painted the hair the correct colour, plus it does make a change at least. Like the HHH this Undertaker is the main missing piece from his career in RA form as I only have a custom long haired ABA Taker before. Those jeans legs are annoyingly short, suit trousers (dress pants?) woulda looked much better I reckon, not just to make him taller but mainly because Undertaker has such long legs in real life so those little short legs don't look right at all. The cloth bits would be the perfect finishing touches if someone had taken the time to get the basic figures right. At least the cloth bits can go on a decent Taker custom when I make one beacuse there's no way I'm going to spend £30+ on a 2 pack and then make all the necessary changes, with the HHH trunks logo upside down it would actually be easier and alot cheaper to make both figures from scratch.
Coulda been such a great set, shame it didn't come out earlier because it's looking like all CS figures are going to be a mess now. Thanks for the pics PJ!!!

No problem. But actually the gold "all 3 H's" are on the crotch only the outline is on all 3 parts. And the outer outline is the same design both upside down and correct. Only the gold lower case h's matter when it's upside down. Still they should be more observant so something like that doesn't happen because it's totally unacceptable.

thanks for the pics PJ, a little red in the hair would have made 'Taker pretty good. HHH having the wrong scan is just disgusting. Sadly, I'm sure I will find myself getting this set at one point...not until it's discounted a little at least. $29.99 plus shipping for that to me is not worth it at all.
