Now I know both Austin and Taker were injured when WrestleMania 2000 took place. However, does any remembe any rumors (IF any) about what kind of match and whom they'd be facing, had they been healthy?
I cannot remember if the original main event was simply HHH vs. the Rock or if the 4-Way match had always been scheduled. I do think a cool 4-Way would have been HHH vs. The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker

Taker at the RR2000 would of been sick I was kinda expecting WWE to swerve us and have Undertaker take on Kurt Angle at RR2000, but Tazz was cool still. Either that or Taker would've been in the Rumble as a surprise entrant.

Wow, Taker at the Rumble would have been great
I would also have loved a simple Rock/Trips Main Event for WM that year, the build up was huge

I dont think any plans had been made for either of them but defo not Austin because they knew from the night after Fully Loaded 99 they were on borrowed time with him.
Rock vs HHH at WM2000 would have been awesome........just like the year before the main event at Backlash topped the WM main event.
Rock vs HHH at Backlash was unreal.the crowd was so alive and when Austin finally turned up........well holy crap.

right after his First Blood match with UnderTaker at Fully Loaded 99 Austinwas in increased agony with his neck.after consultations it became apparent that his neck surgery was now ineveitable.
if you notice Austins in ring activity was decreased in August and then further in September too right up to the time he got ran over at Survivor Series

I'm still wondering if Undertaker's undefeated streak would be still going if he wrestle at WM X and 2000.

Was he going to use the Badass gimmick when he was going to come back at the rumble or was that thought of later?

There were no particular rumors about Undertaker that I recall.
The original plan after the WWF signed Paul Wight was to do Austin vs. Big Show at WrestleMania 2000, effectively the modern version of Hogan vs. Andre. But they pretty much ruined Show right out the gate (even jobbing him to Austin on RAW!) so those plans were nixed. Then the idea became to do Austin vs. Rock 2 which would have happened if not for Austin's much needed surgery.

He had one job; to keep Austin from making his way to the Royal Rumble, and he blew it, on his debut.

WM2000 was meant to be Austin getting his revenge on HHH I thought.....Austin vs Rock II would have been great too

They wouldn't even put him over Foley at WMXV, they had it end in a disqualification on Mick's behalf. And then he jobbed again to Mick the next PPV! And EVERYBODY beats Mick Foley, so there's no excuse. The Big Show could've been a heavy hitter and a big-time player but he was never allowed to reach his full heights. At least he's not kept around on the sidelines like Kane, to be a creepy jobber and all.

That was the plan, I think Big Show was promised a part in the main event of WM2000, when he signed with the WWF in 1999. Thats why he was in the Fatal Four Way, probably written into his contract.
