Hey all. I have a new giant sized batch of (mostly) CHIKARA customs for you all, 34 new figures in all. Dude, seriously, amazing stuff. You really dived into the Chikara catalog.
Jervis f'ing Cottonbelly, the detail on Stigma's mask, the detail on Mantis' track jacket, Crossbones' new gear, Rorshach with his entrance..I guess you could say jacket. Terrific stuff man, I can't wait to see the reaction from the guys on Chikarafans.

i was hoping me and you could have a custom match and you could show me a thing or two about sculping clothing and making it look realistic...

WOW! That's a lot of great customs, I'm shocked at how many figures you made since last time you posted lol, it's awesome though. Thank you posting all this, your customs are always 'fun', I don't know thats just what I think when I see them, they look fun. Keep up the great work, can't wait to see what's next from you.

Way to come into someone's post and not even reply about any of the figures. Anyway onto much more important things, the figures... Did you use the new Rey crotch for Up in Smoke? I didn't like the use of the Colin head for 3 guys. I thought it worked on Cheech but thought it needed some more modding for Jig/Roger. Retooling of the eyebrows or eyes could make it better, if not already done. Vin's hair is too flowing. Looks like a model in figure form, not like a scumbag that he does in real life. Franco's skintone is weird. I knew he looks a weird tan on tape/dvd but in person, he's closer to the Guerrero/Carlito skintone. Kudos on making Brain Damage fat, dude is huge nowadays. Something about the Sami head isn't clicking. I always wanted to try a modded Kenny (with headband) or Trevor. Heck, Taz might even work well. Thumbtack Jack looks good too but dude needs bigger eyes. He looks like an alien in person, haha. |

Dude, you are a machine!! Awesome stuff...just awesome.
I definitely see why you like doing Chikara customs...there's so many creative and vibrant characters to choose from! And, of course, it's a great organization too.
Quick question...what mold did you use for the shorts on Thumbtack Jack?

I must say, CMD... completely impressed with this new batch. You never fail to bring some of the best and creative work i've even seen on these boards... yet i'm still taken back, when I see the new stuff.
I would have to say my favorites of this batch are easily...
1. STIGMA
2. Helios
3. Green Ant & Carpenter Ant
4. Player Uno
That STIGMA is simply a work of art, nothing less. If your ever having a hard time selling any of these pieces, you should contact CHIKARA and see if you could advertise on their site. Any hardcore CHIKARA mark would jump at these in a heartbeat.
I was on CAW's Myspace yesterday and noticed his new default was those bad boys, so I immediately said to myself "Yes! CMD has a new batch coming!" Low and behold, I wake up today and see these works of art.
Just so you know, 2 people commented CAW's picture asking where they can buy all of these CHIKARA figures ( guessing they mean the Ants, SSB, etc. ). So, if you maybe looking for other customers outside of here... take a look at those comments, I guess.
... looking forward to seeing the next batch, would also LOVE to see a CHIKARA roster group shot, if you don't mind. Just think all the characters and colors would look awesome all together.

So I assumed a thread he posted with his customs would be the right place.. I could critique each custom one by one but I have no idea who they are. I can do it off of paintjobs alone and say that while they are all very bright and vibrant that some seem to be a little sloppy and need a few more coats like Jolly Rogers and the tattoos on Devon Moore. But I don't want to get into that because again I have no idea who these guys are or how they're attires are designed in real life. |

these are all sweet as hell man. All the CHIKARA guys are spot on. Mantis in the leisure suit is a thing of beauty. I love the Brain Damage and the Thumbtack Jack is f'n sweet too. just really great stuff as a whole.

You are my favorite customizer on the board. I always look forward to your work, even if I'm not that familiar with most of them. My favorite is ULTIMO BREAKFAST~! Never seen him, but based on the name and your work, he's my favorite new wrestler. Also lovin' Stigma, the detail is breathtaking.
