I see Punk/Hardy closing the show only if they are going to set up a Taker/Punk feud and kick start it after Punk wins.

That would actually be  in awesome. ahh, sending jeff through multiple tables from the ladder to the outside of the ring would be too much like the ending to the Taker/Edge TLC match. I say have Hardy climb a massive ladder, and have TWO tables set up by the ring with Punk laying between them. Hardy goes for the Swanton, Punk rolls out, and Hardy goes through both tables, and Punk climbs and gets the belt. Then Punk could play the "he took one too many chances" angle after the PPV. I should have put this in my origonal post, that it would be in the ring, as I envisioned it as a Cena/Edge TLC type finish. |

MVP vs Jack Swagger is going to be an absolute CLASSIC! Mark my words... Yeah it'll be a nice PPV win for Swagger MVP will win, I'm thinking. Swagger already beat him on Raw. |

This card is actually looking pretty solid this year. I like the sound of Regal/Christian, but I bet it's mat-based and the impatient crowd will grow bored of it. Wish that Regal would win the ECW Championship soon too, that'd be pretty good in my opinion. You got a perfect balance, Khali/Kane and the womens match to serve as filler, and the rest as the apetizers. Looking forward to this one.

I'm sorry, but Swagger/MVP bores me. I have watched one of their matches and all their promos, but I just can't get into it. Maybe its RAW itself, as they make it seem like just two dudes who wrestle each other for 5-7 minutes every other week, before cutting to a hype video of the Guest Host's new project.

Copied from another thread, here's my response to everyone who thinks WWE is dumb enough to put any match beside Hardy/Punk as the main event:
TLC should absolutely be the main event, no doubt in my mind. It's guranteed to be the MOTN and no one's going to care about anything that comes on after it. Sending fans home happy is BS reasoning people have come up with. Tons of PPVs end with a heel on top and many end with the face getting screwed.
And don't give me any "Oh, but Summerslam is the second biggest event of the year. Like Wrestlemania, they want to send people home happy with a babyface win." Here's a list of heels that have won Summerslam main events since I started watching wrestling:
-'97 - Bret Hart beats the Undertaker due to a screwy "Why Shawn?" finish from guest ref Shawn Michaels
-'99 - Mankind actually won the triple threat main event, but the PPV ended with Triple H beating the poop out of Stone Cold with a steal chair
-'02 - Brock Lesnar beat The Rock
-'03 - Triple H won an Elimination Chamber match he barely performed in and then beat the poop out of Goldberg
-'04 - Randy Orton beat Chris Benoit
-'06 - Edge beat John Cena
In conclusion, placing anything but the TLC match in the main event spot would be a terrible booking decision. WWE more than likely realizes this, so everyone can quit worrying about what's going to be the main event match.

My preferred order and winners:
Cena bt. Orton - I'm sick to death of seeing that belt on Orton's shoulder, give it to it's owner.
Khali bt. Kane
CT bt. JeriShow
Swagger bt. MVP
Christian bt. Regal
Ziggler bt. Rey - with a valet assisted belt shot.
Legacy bt. DX - to set up singles matches at BP where HBK beats Cody and Ted beats H to keep it going. The beat-down Monday was a great kickstart, now they need to really build these two.
CM Punk bt. Jeff Hardy - no interferences
