I can't wait to see what else he pulls out. As with these two, the warrior is a much rarer figure in general, but if I was to go after one then it would probably be the Earthquake. Such a sweet figure..

It'll certainly be interesting to see the difference between what the warrior goes for (now there's two) and the earthquake. I agree with brinsko that the earthquake one would be my favourite to win.
I really hope this guy is genuine and not just got the tools to knock up these things at home. It does worry me that there seems to be more and more of prototypes and test shots knocking around these days.

Both great figures, however I'm going the other way and saying Warrior is the one I would like, even if there is two (or more).. I believe this chap is genuine, however I was thinking to myself if someone did have the talent and tools to do things like this, people like us would be none the wiser and still spend serious money. Scary..

it's very scary. If your a good hasbro figure custom maker, then i'm sure its easy to make a prototype.
Think this guy seems genuine enough, but to me at present, if its not on card it aint for me. at the min..

I have to admit I am toying with the idea of bidding on the second Warrior..... but will be watching it price wise as I already have the one and wouldn't mind going for the earthquake one! I can see peoples concerns regarding the seller just putting them together but everything matches up in terms of what he did and where he worked from when I spoke to him last time round, plus if you check some of the other items he has sold in the past you will see he's sold other rare toy line items - including some boxed - all Hasbro based. As I have mentioned before personally I will be keeping a close eye on both auctions, if im lucky enough to win either I will be delighted, but something tells me its going to be a tough auction to win this time round!

Just had a closer look at the New Warrior Prototype and it is different to my one. My version looks to be the same as that of the one used in the Hasbro catalogs - if you notice the knee pads on my one are unpainted and the mask is different with the yellow trim, the new prototype is purple - the same as that used in the final version. Makes me even more tempted to try and win the new one now! Ps - I haven't put the new proto into this thread.... you'll have to go onto the auction site to find those ones!

He's definitely legit. I hate to burst your bubble, but he said he only had 4 left last time around. So he only had 5 total in storage. 2 warriors, the earthquake, and 2 others. He has not told me who they are, and to tell you the truth, i dont even think he knows who they are. He probably has to check the photos. He was an artist/sculptor with absolutely NO interest in wrestling! that figures, right?! anyways, im REALLY excited to see where these auction end up at. I am going to estimate 400 for the quake and $500 for the warrior CONSERVATIVELY!! look at what the test shots hasbromaniac bought. $400. WOW!!

I'd definately go for the 2nd Judge, it looks like one is the earlier version of the second i.e no decal on the knee pads - it' would be amazing to have the 3 together in your collection as kind of a "evolution" story with the final produced version The quake looks great, would be interesting to see what the others he has are...

BK Agreed with humanitarianaryan - I mentioned a while back he didn't seem clued up on who they were. That being said last night when I emailed him he sent me the pictures of the Hasbro catalog that I posted above.... and so far we have seen earthquake and warrior out of them, I wonder if the 2 others are going to be from the same catalog ? My guess at cost - $600 a piece - for the simple fact people know they are on ebay this time round when last time some key collectors didn't see the item listed. It is really good to see these items coming up for sale! ;D ;D

BK I agree that the other toys seem to corroborate his story and that these probably are genuine but I'm sure when people see the prices they go for they wll try to con the serious collectors. It happened with the mailaways a couple years back. A few bret harts and hulk hogans went for big sums and all of a sudden nearly every figure from the first few series was turning up on the UK ebay in a polythene bag as a rare Summerslam 92 mailaway. Funnily I mever saw one of these fot the 12 years i'd been collecting Hasbros before then and all of a sudden they were everywhere. It's scary stuff. Pretty sure ebays protection policy wouldnt be paying out in a hurry as well

I bought from Dennis a rare Lex Luger variant which had a broken arm...I gave it to a friend of mine who's working for Giochi Preziosi, he's a sculptor/artist (like our man) and he makes every months tonns of action figure...he fixed my Luger in a couplle of days @ his own home!! Anyway I think this guy is the real business and he's 100% GENUINE!!!
