Honestly, I'm surprised he was able to actually get a 2 year deal. The Eagles, I'm assuming, probably don't know where they'd use him given their current roster. Obviously, given McNabb's ability you are looking to put Vick in during wildcat formations (which I didn't think they were planning on running) or as a slot receiver. If they are honestly looking to replace McNabb with Vick then they are absolute morons.
He honestly doesn't fit in with that team right now so it's a wild pick up for sure.

thank the Panthers didn't sign him. I never believed they would but I heard it enough from various people to put the terrible idea in my head.

I was listening to Steve Young on Sportcenter and he said that the Eagles have a West Coast offense style which Vick is used to playing. He said that that would be a good fit for Vick. We can only wait and see.

Terrible move by the Eagles, iyam.
Why sign him!? There's no reason to sign him. I don't see what he could possibly do for them.
EDIT: Oh, and forgot the mention. I'm impressed with Brady and Julian Edelman tonight. Brady looks fine, and Julian is impressing me on returns, and he can catch...

At least it's not Pittsburgh. See, Pittsburgh woulda made a helluva lot more sense. How so? The QB situation is the same in Philly as it is in Pittsburgh. Solid starting QBs (occasionally shaky, but still). Decent back ups (Batch for Pittsburgh and Kolb for Philly, though I think he is hurt....or I THOUGHT he was). Meh.

We can only wait and see. The style is a good fit...if he's the quarterback. Don't see that happening. I have a hard time believing Vick will be content with being a backup all season. Expect qb controversy by week 4 knowing how fickle Eagles fans are.

I officially dislike the Iggles even more than I previously did. I haven't seen any money numbers yet. Has anyone?

The Philly fans are going to destroy any of PETA's attempted protests, I love it.

Did not expect him to sign with the Eagles at all. McNabb is a damn good QB but once he has a bad game the Philly fans will be calling for Vick.

I hate when The Cowboys play a West Coast Team during the Pre-Season, only because I have to go to bed before its over due to school usually.
