He gets the star treatment because he's that good. He is a star. Let's not kid ourselves about Tavaris or Sage's talents. We're talking about two guys who are inconsistent at best. he still isn't above the team. I'd like ot see him shine without and O line. He is only a star b/c he has people blocking, catching and running for him. Usualy when playing QB, that kind of thing is ordinary. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning would suck without an O-Line.

I hope Favre throws many touchdowns..
And I hope Peterson runs all over everyone..
I hope they win the Super Bowl..
Just to shut everyone down with all the Brett hatred.

Favre wasn't even good last year. ESPN is saying Vikes team to beat in NFC now. They will be until he starts throwing 4 INTs a game the last 5 weeks of the season and costs them a playoff spot are you kidding me? Have they heard of the giant, eagles and all these other good teams in the nfc?

When the **insert team here** win the NFC, all of these critics will be like
"Yeah, but the **insert team here** were my sleeper pick all along...go **insert team here**!"
So I don't listen to them.
The Vikings were going to be good without Favre. They will be good with him.
They won't win the conference, but they should go deep into the playoffs.

If deep means getting the 4th seed, and losing in the wildcard round to either the Cowboys or Eagles, yea, I agree.

If the Vikings can't win a weak NFC central how do you expect them to go deep in the playoffs?

If Favre wins a Superbowl this year, I am going to chop my penis off again.

It's not that I don't think he won't, it's just that I will want to cause myself bodily harm.

Alright. I hadn't been home all day. During the day I was at the mall for a while. And while there I was wearing my Adrian Peterson jersey. So I was walking and this kid around my age was like "Hey, they signed Brett Favre today", while point at my jersey. I was like "No way, really?" and he said "Yeah, two year deal." I was replied with "Wow, thanks." and walked off.
I'm now home and not that I didn't believe, but I now know for fact. And I'm totally mixed. On one hand, I'm pissed at him not being able to make up his damn mind, and all the crapover the past two years. On the other hand, if he can bring the wins and get the Vikes deep into the playoffs...well of course I'm all for it. I do feel like he's better than anything else the Vikes got at QB, especially with T-Jack's injuries, so I just hope this isn't a huge waste of time, money, and effort for Minnesota.
Oh, but if they end up cutting John David Booty because of this....I'll be pissed.

Don't lose sleep over it. The odds of all five of your favorite teams missing the playoffs are very low.

Oh Brett Favre, I think he's lost it finally. But i'm kind of glad he signed, I can't wait for him to take the field in Green Bay.

the willams brothers, Benard Berrian and Adrian Peterson are the only good ones on the team IMO, dont get your hopes up. even with farve they are going 8 and 8 this season at best. they arent the team to beat. they wont even win their division which also is below average.
