Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker was sadly the only HIAC match I've seen. But man was it good lol

Undertaker vs. Mankind at King Of The Ring 98, revolutionized the industry. It's a shame that the WWE has taken such giant leaps backwards since then. It's not that they've leaped backward, but how do you even top that? You can't. They pushed the bill as far as it could've went and then some, so don't blame WWE if they can't launch a guy off a 16-foot cage anymore.

I actually like the 6-Man HIAC the best, mainly because we know there won't be another one. Can't go wrong with the original though either.

Nothing can top Shawn and Undertaker for me. It was flawless and has yet to be matched.

You can't expect the KOTR 98 HIAC to be the standard for hardcore style matches. In that match you happened to have one guy with an INSANELY high pain threshold and willingness to nearly kill himself get tossed off a cell and the bump through the ceiling was an accident and almost did kill him. Hyopthetically, if you pushed the envelope any further than that you'd pretty much be asking for wrestlers to die in the ring.

HBK vs the Undertaker. also LOVED the following UT vs Mankind 6 Man HIAC HHH vs Foley Batista vs HHH Brock vs UT the PG HIAC between Edge and UT really pissed me off. I really wouldn't blame PG for Edge and Undertaker. The only thing it really stopped was blood, which would have been nice but that's not what ruined it for me. What stopped that match from being great was the amount of contrived spots. I mean, there was no drama because they had so many tables set up throughout the match that you knew it couldn't end until they were broken. It was mainly spots with little psychology to it. Finish one spot, move to the next. That killed it for me. I do love the ending, though, with 'Taker destroying Edge with everything that Edge used to beat 'Taker (the spear, the camera shot ala Survivor Series '07, the Con-Chair-To, and finally the Tombstone). yeah all the set up Tables robbed it of its unpredictability.......I have to say though revenge matches need blood IMO. edge being a bloody mess here would have crowned it

Gotta go with KOTR '98 as the best. Still blows me away to see it every time. My favorite though is probably 6 man Armageddon.
The worst? DX vs. McMahons.

The worst was easily The Undertaker Vs Big Bossman from Wrestlemania 15.

I have a soft spot for Triple H/Cactus Jack. I can close my eyes and see Mick standing on top of the cell now with a flaming barbed wire 2x4, and that image'll stay with me for the rest of my life. Aside from that one, I also liked Mankind/'Taker, Michaels/'Taker, and Brock/'Taker. The worst was easily The Undertaker Vs Big Bossman from Wrestlemania 15. Easily, but Jericho's Squash-in-the-Cell at the hands of Triple H was pretty awful too. Same with Kevin Nash/Triple H.

And my vote goes to Brock/Taker, love that match.

Hell in the cell over time has gave us some of the biggest matches in history but I feel the best was Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker yes I saw HBK vs Undertaker but feel his match with Brock was far better. It was a bloody mess with a very shocking ending because nobody thought Undertaker would lose in the way he did.

HHH v Foley, followed by Six man. I dont know how Mankind/Taker can be best HIAC of all time,I mean it was great for those two spots everyone remembers, but apart from that, was it all that great of an actual match?

Has to be the first one. HBK v Taker. It was rated 5 Star's by Wrestling Observer! Do you know how many matches have been rated 5 stars in the WWE since that time? 0
On a side note, for those wondering what the other 5 Star WWE matches were, here's the list:
3/20/94 Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon (Ladder Match, WrestleMania X) WWF Intercontinental Championship
* 8/29/94 Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart (Cage Match, SummerSlam 1994) WWF Championship <--- I WAS THERE!
* 3/23/97 Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin (Submission Match, WrestleMania 13)
* 10/5/97 Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker (Hell in a Cell Match, In Your House: Bad Blood) WWF Championship

I never seem to understand why many feel the six man cell match was that good because it was ok at best nothing special. It was not good as it could have been,
