I'll see it soon hopefully. I have to. GI Joe was a HUGE part of my childhood. Mine too...But I'll wait until it comes out on DVD, methinks... |

Just saw it, if I hadn't already seen the Marine and Transformers 2, I would have a new worst movie. I laughed out loud at a lot of points in the movie while I shook my head in disbelief that anyone could "OK" this.
I went in with pretty low expectations hoping to be surprised, but those expectations were met. Snake Eyes was the only character who was played well. Wayans was awful, Scarlett tried too hard to be "I'm a woman who can do what the men do!", Quaid put on his worst tough guy voice, that character who was pretending to be Cobra Commander was a joke.
Why is this an international organization?
Channing Tatum may have been the worst part of the whole movie with his trashy blackcent. The others I could stretch to see the characters they were playing, but NOTHING about him said Duke. Oooh, he's tough riding a motorcycle in the rain with his leather jacket and sunglasses.
There was two good things about this movie and they were both on Siena Miller's chest.
Right now I'm watching Arise, Serpentor, Arise. Just restore my sanity.

When Duke found out about Rex, that was some of the Worst Acting ever.
Seriously, i knew it wouldn't be the Cartoon or Comic G.I. Joe but disregarding that, the Story was still Terribly written, Charachters incredibly Bland and The Acting was awful per Regular Movie Standards.
