I am undecided with getting this game. I really really want it and have the money. It's just I don't want it to take over my life like Modern Warfare did. I am training to do a half marathon in May next year. And I am a lot more sociable then I used to be. So I need to decide.

I just got it last night. I made it, so far, to the mission right after...
**SPOILER IN WHITE**
Joseph Allen gets K.I.A. by the main Russian you are going after.
I didn't complete that mission, and I moved to multiplayer with a few friends of mine, and got to Level 4. Considering I never once played online multiplayer with the first Modern Warfare, and I only was on multiplayer for no more than 2 hours - and that's stretching the time - I'd say that's pretty good.

I am totally up for a WF: CoD MW 2 night. I'm getting the game tonight, so I don't actually care how bad I am if we play.

Wow,got some good games in FFA today.Also carried on with the campaign today.Just finished the saving burgertown one or something like that and just starting the mission after that.Could anybody tell me,how many more mission's are there after the burgertown level? i really need to know,thanks.

This is odd, Every time i have joined a Ranked game today i have been getting 1 Red Bar for Signal but when i go into a Private game i am getting 4 solid green bars, This is pissing me off and the lag is unbearable, I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with my connection though..

You said it's not a problem with your connection, so that's the only thing I could think of. The lag would be the host of the public game. Not sure about Modern Warfare 2 but on Modern Warfare there was a way you could tell if you were host or not. Also J3T in every game last night you improved so as long as you keep playing you should get up pretty high quickly. Try some Team Deathmatch as you get 100XP per kil unlike Ground War were you get 50 (on Domination) So If anyone is up for a WF COD MW 2 night just post your gamertag and when your able to play. That way we can get everyone together in a big ass game of groundwar. |

Anyone know if they plan on making a World at War 2? Well Infinity Ward make the even #'d Call of Dutys and Treyarch makes the odd #'d ones. Considering that this next one out will be Treyarch's unless something drastic happens, yes it will probably be World at War 2. |

I thought it was pretty clear the next COD is Vietnam which I am stoked about. I know there is a huge Treyarch vs. IW battle but I love both companies so I'm excited. Treyarch should do a World War Z COD tbh.
And seriously, why does money fly out of you when you get killed in multiplayer?

But to answer the question...yes, it has single player. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "in depth", but as far as shooters go the story is pretty  in good. It's uniquely cinematic just like the original Modern Warfare. |
