I'll be getting Blackman for sure... Doink, Goldberg, and Slaughter are maybes, but it realy depends on what the MOCs look like and what accessories they are packed with.We should all realize by now that MAYBE one figure in the whole assortment will have an accessory - probably a microphone for Doink.  |

One of the crappiest sets I've ever seen. I passed up on CS 25 Goldberg, just out of hope that they change the headscan. All I wanted was a different headscan. Just give him a mean one, hell make him smile, I don't care. But no. They give him the exact same ugly no good piece of crap headscan as last time. Only one I care about is Slaughter, since I don't have one yet. I can't wait for Mattel, and I never thought I'd say that. This just sucks.

+ If they had to do two Paul Wight figures in CS, why not do The Giant in this set (which looks good) and then the shirt/shorts WWF look ala TTL4? CS25 is utterly pointless. + Yeah, we totally needed another Slaughter...especially one not using the torso specifically made for him? Somebody over at Jakks is off their  ing rocker, no joke. + I really like how Crush turned out. Good attire choice, nice details, and even though the parts are gonna make him smaller, they look good on him. I think he would have looked better with a painted on singlet with the SHW mold. Good figure, though. + Doink looks awesome. But again, it's completely unnecessary with CS19. I think they're just trying to make use of the jacket mold. If that's why we didn't get evil Crush, that's lame as hell. + Why does my Survivor Series Goldberg figure from 2003/2004 look better than this? The best thing I see is that he has the skull tat under his arm. I consider WCW Goldberg a necessary part of CS...but not his WWE run. And this figure looks mediocre as hell. Wrong torso, wrong boots, wrong headscan. + Blackman looks good. If he doesn't have the white karate top he should at least come with a painted Hardcore Title to help drive sales. I'm expecting one unpainted stick instead. That Sherri really should have been released. It looks...well, sensational. I thought they were going to do a wrestling attire version of Skaaland. Either way it's a shame he won't be released. Not a very desirable set. Again, CS28 has potential to be amazing. I'm gonna be really bummed if they screw up the last CS set with cost cutting B.S. and last minute changes. |

Warlord with face paint and no mask? Barbarian without fur? I have waited so f**** long for these to figures and once again they totally screw them up. Crush is fine. If we get him with that detail... Evil Doink? I think I have a deja vu... Big Show? I don´t really like him in person and I like him even less as figure... We get a f**** Big Show, maybe Big Show no. 3576154, and don´t get Arnie or Sherri? Jakks, now it´s really time to commit suicide. No joke. You´re absolutely dispensable. You can´t do just one thing right... Can´t even put it in words, how much you annoy me... Goldberg? No more words... Slaughter? I like him, but why another figure of him? And why a torso with ripped abs??? Blackman? Classic? Yeah, and my grandma learns how to breakdance... Alright then, 2 good figures (Crush and Doink) of which 1 is totally unnessecary (Doink) and the rest is nothing but crap. 2 good figures that are not released and a load of figures which are unnessacary (Big Show, Goldberg, Slaughter [we already have so many], Blackman). So FINALLY.....they stop producing those ugly LJN DOG TOYS!!!! Why didnt they do this earlier? It would have created some very good spots early on for some additional names.
Anyway why only 8 figures in this set? They could have easily added another 3 (Outback, Arnold, and Sherri or Evil Crush) with no problem at all. My guess is they are possibly dropping a few names off of 28 (AND IT BETTER NOT BE SKINNER) and putting some of those four in that set. Out of those four, I really want the Outback the most.
As for the 8 protos they showed us for 27, my thoughts: (I want to say, other than Blackman and Crush, all the others to me are wasted spots that should have been used for new names.)
-WARLORD: Looks good. I do wish they went with the bald look and the silver mask.
-BLACKMAN: Totally rocks. Cant wait for this figure. Looks nice.
-SLAUGHTER: I love this figure. The one with Orton in the two pack is so hard to find. Here is a chance to pick it up. I hope it comes with his hat and sunglasses.
-CRUSH: Looks good. I for sure will get this. I loved this character.
-DOINK: Looks good. May pick him up. I like the jacket. However, I wish they put this jacket on the CS6 Doink instead. Not a fan of the striped pants look.
-BARBARIAN: I sure hope he come with fur and antlers. Will have to wait and see MOC pics.
The 2 figures that are very disappointing to me and two wasted spots FOR SURE are..........
-GOLDBERG: NOT NEEDED AT ALL! Bad looking figure, Horrible scan. WWE look shouldnt even be in the CS line.
-BIG SHOW: Same as Goldberg, as for not needing to be in the CS line. The Giant in WCW days yes, possibly. But not as the Big Show.
Over-all: set is pretty good. There are better sets and there are alot worse sets.

god I hope Mattel actually listens to us all the way thru and doesnt screw us over in the middle

Wow....totally terrible. Jakks just refuses to learn from its mistakes. And to think that they were on top of their game 2 years ago with the top selling product behind Star Wars. I'm done with them......done with miscolored arm and heads.....terrible part choices....and furthermore just not giving a damn about the quality of their product. Ive spent thousands and thousands with them but the buck stops here. Im no longer supporting them or The TNA line due to the way theyve crapon us WWE fans that have followed them for the last 10 yrs. Forget how they feel about The WWE....what about us the fans and consumers that have kept their lackluster ass in business? Sorry to rant guys but Im pissed.......and I seriously dont hope you guys think the quality is gonna magicly be raised for TNA. BRING ON MATTEL cuz Jakks....I'M DONE!!!
P.S. Since We know that Mattell reps come here I hope they read these Jakks prto post so they know how unsatisfied we are with the current Jakks product!

I think some people are ok with it now because others have posted pics of Warlod actually wearing that gear with the face paint. I still the figure sucks though. Most of us remember the Warlod without face paint, without hair, and with his Phantom of the Opera mask for his singles run. Why wouldn't you make a figure of a guy in his most memorable attire instead of an obscure look that didn't last long? |

I am SOOOO worried about CS 28 it's bad enough they took out Bradsaw and Farrooq but i PRAY they end up in the next CSTT IF there is another set. I want most of 28 and fear i will prob pnly be getting 1 or 2 because they have all been cancelled. This set isnt the end of the world but is pretty bad and just show how slack Jakks are getting Doink, Show, Goldberg and Blackman will prob be the only i get but DAMN that Sherri looks fantastic. Why in the hell did they not release it? Along with taking out Old School Christian? Jakks dont p*** us off because i'm sure you will loose ALOT of customers that you could of taken over to buy your TNA line. DO NOT F*** UP CS28! PLEASE! All you gotta do is take out edge of CS28 and replace him with the Sherri you didnt release then in the next CSTT have APA, Old School Edge and Christian and you could even take the headbangers out of CS28 and add them to the next CSTT and that makes 2 slots open for figs we acctually need.
After all these years of listening to us Jeremy why are you just giving us the cold shoulder and from what it seems purposely p***ing us off and ruining a fantastic action figure line. Come Jeremy and Jakks do us proud and do the right thing and don't act like assclowns.

I don´t like Jakks, that´s no big secret, but what if... ...what if there´s sitting a geek who´s responsible for the design for the figures, who has just no interest in Wrestling or its history at all, who just takes pictures off the internet and then says "Ok, the figure will be like that!"?
