I've seen these done before and thought it would be fun to keep my own.
Baltimore Ravens
2009-2010 season
Schedule:
WK1: VS KC (W 34-13)
WK2: @ SD (W 34-14)
WK3: VS CLE (W 42-14)
WK4: @ NE (W 35-3)
WK5: VS CIN (W 31-7)
WK6: @ MIN (W 34-27)
WK7: BYE
WK8: VS DEN (W 38-14)
WK9: @ CIN (W 30-13)
WK10: @ CLE (W 31-17)
WK11: VS IND
WK12: VS PIT
WK13: @ GB
WK14: VS DET
WK15: VS CHI
WK16: @ PIT
WK17: @ OAK
:Week 8 VS DEN:
J. Flacco: 18/24, 215 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT, 1 rush TD
R. Rice: 17/152 yds, 0 TDs
L. McClain: 3/9 yds, 1 TD, lost fumble
It didn't make more than 3 plays for Baltimore to get on the board. Denver got the opening kickoff, and on the 3rd play of the drive, Kyle Orton throws and INT to LB Jarret Johnson, who takes it to the house for 6. Denver didn't collapse because of it, though. They came back and answered with a 68-yard screen pass to Knowshon Moreno on the first play of their next drive.
Baltimore's defense decided that would be the last big play of the night for Denver, and they kept their promise. They even picked off Orton 3 more times, just to drive the point home. Jarret Johnson was the man to walk off with the Player of the Game award.
The Raven offense was also on fire, with Ray Rice rushing for a season-high 152 yards, but not having a TD to show for it.
:Week 9 @ CIN:
J. Flacco: 21/28, 325 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
W. McGahee: 4/31 yds, 1 rush TD, 1 rec. TD.
L. McClain: 4/14 yds, 1 TD
Baltimore rolled in to Cincinnati on an 8 game winning streak, one of the two undefeated teams in the NFL (the other being fellow AFC North team Pittsburgh Steelers).
Baltimore went for a new approach to the offense, by trying to run more frequently. They want to keep things fresh and not become too predictable. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Ray Rice has an abysmal day, rushing 14 times for ZERO yards and didn't even have a TD. He did, however, have 97 receiving yards and led the game in receptions. Willis McGahee was more than willing to pick up the slack, as he's barely played all year. McGahee grabbed the Player of the Game award.
Baltimore's D played just a good as they have all year, picking off one pass and scooping up a fumble. They also stopped a 2 point conversion attempt int he 4th quarter.
:Week 10 @ CLE:
J. Flacco: 5/9, 91 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
T. Smith: 7/9, 82 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
R. Rice: 16/46 yds, 1 TD
L. McClain: 5/15 yds.
The game against the Bengals turned out to be one of the ugliest of the year, both offensive performance wise and injury wise. Cleveland's Brady Quinn went down on one of the first plays of the game and is out with an upper arm fracture. Baltimore's Joe Flacco also went down with an injury. He took a hit and suffered a mild concussion late in the first quarter. Backup QB Troy Smith took the reigns from then until late in the 4th when Flacco was cleared to play.
The offense of the Ravens had a fairly hard time getting much going. Passes were only completed to four different players, a season low for Baltimore. Ray Rice was able to rush for a TD, but only amassed 46 yards on the ground.
The defense, however, picked up the slack that the offense couldn't carry. LBs Tavares Gooden and Ray Lewis both had INTs, Lewis took his back for 6 points. Cleveland's backup QB Derek Anderson is thanking his lucky stars that the game is over, after being sacked SEVEN times. Haloti Ngata racked up 3 sacks, Trevor Pryce had 2, Kelly Gregg got 1, and Jarret Johnson got 1 as well.
The Player of the Game award went to Cleveland's Derek Anderson
:Week 11 VS IND:
Baltimore and their perfect 9-0 record go up against Indianapolis, a team that is surprisingly last in the AFC South.
League-wide standings will be posted again after Week 12.
