A. How am I "bias" by what I just said? Makes no sense. B.) Would you care to point out where I said the X-Division wasn't important? Re-read what I just said "I'm not saying the X-Division wasn't a major player in TNA, but to say it would've died without it is bull." Never once did I say, "Oh, it wasn't important". One thing being gone/not being there would not kill a company. You are being bias because even the true die hard TNA fans on this board see some truth to this email, stating that as great as TNA has been, they still have some growing up to do. You're bias because you wrote this off as "crap" without actually addressing that TNA does have issues. As far as the X-Division goes, you should try re-reading what I posted. I didn't say you said they weren't important. I was merely asking you to point out something more important to TNA's rise from PPV to TV. Don't give me this bullcrapabout "not addressing that TNA does have issues". No, I didn't adress them here. I pointed out something I wanted to comment on, nothing more nothing less. The lasat time I pointed out a problem that I had with TNA, I more and less was told that I was wrong. I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't. I commented on what I wanted to comment on and stated my opinion on it.

Good letter, I myself personally agree with that...Dykens' website is quite good, once you get used to it.
For mine though, TNA was the better promotion in late '04 - mid '06...Hasn't looked to recover since then.

Nothing really new pointed out, I mean other than the recent Kurt Angle issues.

Whether under the name "X-division" or not, crisp and high intensity wrestling got TNA on air. It may not have killed the promotion to not have it, but it was the most important factor in getting TNA noticed. It was what the TNA brand was known for and was the niche they could've continued to fill with potentially greater success than they are experiencing now.
As for the letter. Not like it would infiltrate the mind-numbing incompetence of TNA management but I would've been a bit more harsh. I would've asked TNA to stop kissing the asses of every big name talent looking for a job and concentrate on making the letters "TNA" a big name. Every aspect of TNA is saturated with former WWE, WCW, and ECW stars moreso than WWE itself. What's the difference? The difference is WWE brands itself and pushes its own stars. It respects its own stars enough to trust them at the forefrunt of their marketing strategy.
WWE filled the sports entertainment niche. You can't present a second-rate product in any other niche industry and expect it to get near the success of its leader. That's Business 101.
Oh yeah, and WWE's top talent will NEVER be bigger than the name WWE itself. Can't say that about TNA, whose entire main event scene has had more exposure than the promotion they work for. A promotion is like a hot air balloon. All the helium in the world hovering over the structure will do nothing for it. Helium must be built up from within for it to rise. Like Paul Heyman has said, branding is the be all end all. Even WCW knew this and presented even it's biggest WWE castoffs in a completely different light. TNA has no idea how to do this, and so will do nothing to build it's own credibility and continue disrespecting it's own talent and going down on every WWE talent that comes along.
That's my TNA rant for the week.
