hi there, pretty soon, i'll be starting to build up a wwf/e-centric dvd collection (i know, i'm terribly late into the digital world, ), i only started watching the wwf on and off from 1999 onwards - my first full year of watching was 2002. basically, i'm in need of help, regarding what events are worth buying. i'd be grateful to anyone who has watched these events, could tell me which ones to buy, and what to avoid. www.silvervision.co.uk/category/Tagged-Classics/page1.html so, as you can see, the events in question are: Royal Rumble WrestleMania King of the Ring SummerSlam Survivor Series In Your House i don't mind buying a tagged classic that has one good to very good event, and one not to good event - let's say, the wrestlemania 11 and 12 tagged classic. i'd really appreciated some valuable input here from the knowledgeable community here, thank you,

Since you started watching around '99, I'll just concentration on the Family entertainment/Attitude era:
Just a few that are "must owns": Wrestlemania 3, 6, 10, 14 Royal Rumble '94, '95,' 98 King of the Ring '96, '98, Bad Blood '97, Survivor Series '97, '98, IYH: Over The Edge, Fully Loaded '99.
As for this decade, PPVs that featured Angle-Lesnar, Angle-HBK, HHH-HBK, Undertaker-Edge are worth having.

King of the Ring 1996 is a very underrated KOTR event.

I've always enjoyed Summerslams 90 & 91, which you can get as a twin pack of Tagged Classics

Looking through the ones listed on the link...
SummerSlam '92 is a great show, '93 not so much but the tagged classics pack of the pair is worth getting.
One Night Only (some crappy undercard matches but some great matches too) and The Fab 4 (an interview/highlights DVD of Taker, Bret, HBK and Bulldog... It was shown on Sky in summer '97 to promote One Night Only).
In Your House 13: Final Four (I think the main event was WWE's first four-way singles match, at least on TV/PPV) and 16: Canadian Stampede (widely regarded as one of the best non-Wrestlemania PPVs they've ever done).
Survivor Series '97 and '98. I never saw '97, but obviously it had the screwjob which was huge for wrestling. And Survivor Series '98 is still one of my favourite PPVs ever, despite the best match on the card being Al Snow vs Jeff Jarrett.
Royal Rumble 91 and 92. '92 was the first Rumble I saw, and a lot of people still call it the best one they've done. I was a huge fan of Roddy Piper that night.
I've never seen In Your House 17 and 18 (apart from the HBK vs Taker cell match) but must be worth £8.99.

Wow, you Brits are lucky. These Tagged Classics are cool.
Snap up all the WrestleManias you can, especially 2000. That went out of print and was/is extremely hard to find.

Any Rumble - gotta love the Royal Rumble match itself.
