coming from somebody who didnt listen at school and treated collage as a doss. Learn as much as you can, honestly.
Im one of them people who if i cant do somthing, i quit, so at school i did the Bart Simpson roll of making people laugh and been a clown, which is cool i was mega populer, but im also broke every month!!!
the job ive got is ok, i work for a growing company, we turning over alot of money and also got overtime during a reccesion, but my wages suck ass for the work i put in!!!
So in short, ive landed on my feet, but lots of my mates are not as lucky, take along hard think on what you enjoy and what you wanna be, plus is there acctually a future in it and are jobs avalible, then build on that and learn the skills for that job, and good luck!!!

i finished school, went on to college and finished my a-levels in ICT, English and Geography, and then went onto University to do Broadcast Journalism, however, i hated the course with a passion, so decided to leave after a year. i was gonna go to another university to do Business, but I stayed at Morrisons, went full time as Fresh Food Supervisor, and now a year later I'm Produce Manager, and in 2 years time will be Assistant store manager, earning around £30k a year. Not bad at all!

In my opinion, you should stay in education, regardless, until you have to start paying for it. So if you're younger than 19, be sure to sign yourself up for a course because you need to milk the government for as much free aid as you can. I personally don't agree with that... sure if you are wanting to do a job where you definatly need the qualifications or you have nothing better to do (ie, still undecided on what job you want to do in the future) then fine But i really hate the way people seem to think you have to get the most extensive education and the largest amount of grades to get a good job. Right now i am working in a clothes shop, but i after some meetings, it looks like i could be getting an apprentiship as a games designer / artist

Went to College for two years doing Interior Design/Spatial Design, now just heading into my second year at Uni doing Architecture/Interior Design. Going for a Masters Degree eventually. Been out of a job for about a year and a half now, just living off grants I get from Uni really. I don't really have anything to pay for except going out and a couple of holidays a year.

I work for a firm called SERCO, not the best company but the job itself is good, working in a magistrates court in the cells dealing with prisoners, you get Control and Restraint training just incase the prisoners kick off and you have to deal with it, so we get to fight the prisoners some times. You could always get a part time job and do a part time college course. I kinda wish I stayed in college longer but Hey Ho, got a mortage now so back to work I go.

I work for the Co-operative. I'm on the management team as a Grocery Team Leader and a Duty Manager. I love my job, the people I work with and it's pretty good pay.
I sort of fell into the job 4 years ago, loved working in retail and started working my way up.
