It wasn't that long after WCW created the Cruiserweight Tag Team titles that WCW folded. And now TNA is bringing in Knockout's Tag Team titles, so all logic points to this being the start of the downfall of TNA. Well, not really, but oh well.

Coincidence. WCW was already dying for unrelated reasons.

Spiked extended their contract to 3 Years, while with Time Warner they wanted to get rid of WCW. I don't think we'll see TNA die out in a long time, while there's still work to be done with the product they've been going well, pretty much more successful than they've ever been.

If you got an F in school, then you got a D, you'd be more successful than you'd ever been.

The merger killed WCW more than anything.

The ratings have really only slightly upped over the few years, I haven't seen TNA in a while drop down to below a 1.0 rating, so they're getting their stability with the audience, but then again to get the higher ratings they need to improve.

If he wasn't there, then the NWO wouldn't off happened and non of the ex WWE stars would of came to WCW. The ratings would off been horrible and Ted Turner would off thrown WCW off the network !

I don't see this killing TNA, they still have a good product out and I just don't see this being the end

And people who had power didn't kill WCW, The AOL/Turner murger killed it. Maybe WWE got there facts wrong or you weren't listening because you were crying over Davey Richards kicking your hand?

WCW was in horrible shape leading up to it's death. The AOL/Time Warner merger was the final nail in the coffin, but Vince Russo's horrible booking, and not having someone to run his ideas by, like he did in the WWF, along with not building new stars, and the top guys refusing to help build new stars is what really killed WCW. The only people WCW really built in their later years was Goldberg, Booker T and DDP.

So many things led to WCW's downfall. No new stars; Giving wrestlers the right to develop and change their character as they saw fit; Vince Russo, nothing more needs to be said.; Bischoff's absence from the company; NWO from 96 to 2000, and it's constant revivals, ala 'Fingerpoke of Doom'; Too many old guys in the main event scene; and then finally the AOL/Timewarner merger. IMO these are the things that unfortunately killed WCW. It's a shame to, because in it's last days, WCW was improving. Guys like Jarrett, Booker T, and Steiner were getting main-event pushes but it was too late. The nail was in the coffin, and WCW was doomed. I still miss it to this day. WCW 4 Life.

Well, seeing as they're hiring so many new Knockouts it's a good idea. But I think TNA needs another 2-hour slot or at least a 1-hour beforehand.

I've mentioned this before. Kurt Angle = TNA's Hulk Hogan Main Event Mafia = TNA's NWO.
