Hey Kev! Yeah, i think i might start doing that too. Especially as i can't always remember what figures i actually have, and what figures i need, so if i just buy everything i find, i guess i can't go wrong! hehe. I find the Galoob figures quite difficult to remember, as there arent that many different characters, and just loads of different re-paints. I only started collecting the Galoob figures last week. We went to a car boot sale on Bank Holiday monday, and i managed to pick up 15 WCW Galoob's for £6 Then I found Big Josh and a Pillman figure this morning for 50p each. I think I am going to have to be a complete loser, and write out a list of the different ones i need until i can learn the different paint jobs. lol.

I have a binder full of lists of my figures in my attic, i think its the only way of keeping track of your collection. i once convinced myself i didnt have ljn andre black strap and thought i sold him a while ago, when i went in the attic there he was.

I list items I have quite a few of - eg Hasbros, Galoobs just to make sure I don't sell something I need as I tend to get a lot of doubles in largers lots I buy.

Hehe Thanks! Is Big Josh Rare? I noticed he doesnt seem to crop up on eBay as much as the others.
The car boot sale i went to last week had quite a few LJN figures, but the quality of some of them wasn't too great. Are there any of them that are rara regardless of the condition?
It sucks really, because i remember when i was a kid, i could instantly remember which stickers i needed for my sticker albums off the top of my head, and there was like 500 stickers per album, and now i cant even remember 17 galoob figures. hehe.

Big Josh is one of the rarest.
Ive been a boot sale whore for about 10 years now. I go once a month to anything in the northeast, hense all of my hasbro swaps in my collection post.
Always pick up any wrestling items, always offer less. If you buy 1 figure, give them the 50p they want, anything more than that, get the price down best you can.
I sometimes pick up jakks just to use the heads for customs.
I got an old school blue beanbag the other day for £1... seen them for £20 on ebay over the last month.

At one car boot sale i go to, there is a guy who is there every time, who only sells wrestling stuff. He has a box underneath the tables with tons of old LJN figures, but i have no clue what they are worth. I think I am going to take a few pictures when i go over there on Sunday, so I'll post them on here. If anyone wants any of the figures just let me know, and i will go and pick them up Hopefully I'll be able to convince him they are worthless, and buy the boxfull for a fiver if they are actually worth anything haha.

I love seeing Hasbros at car boots. before i really started collecting them again there was this one old chap who had a box of some hasbros and jakks, and the hasbros were really beat up and pretty much broke. He tried to say they were worth a lot of money and fetch up to hundreds on the internet. hmmmm. My best buy was an Ultimate Warrior & Hulk Hogan bag from a charity shop in Wales for £2, in mint condition.

i buy every hasbro or galoob that i see, i must have over 200 spare figures and about 10 spare rings, some i use for customising. how can you resist when you can pick most of them up for between 10p-£1, its great i will keep picking up all i see, {one day they mite pay for my funeral lol}. i picked up 84 figures about a month ago from a car boot sale in lydiate {merseyside} for £20 i was asking the lady how much she wanted for the lot and she said make me an offer, so £20 was offerd and i was very very happy.
