Really? Everyone's forgetting about the monstrosities that were 2002 and 2003? I go with those two, by far, voting for '03. What horrible, horrible storylines. Katie Vick and Al Wilson are worse than anything that has happened in the last four years.

2006, just a plain god-awful year, that year almost turned me off the wwe completely. 2007 was pretty bad too, but i still think '06 was that bit worse.

I can't vote for just one year...anything from the start of 2003 through the end of 2007 was just bad. 2008 and 2009 have been two of my favorite years of wreslting and I have been watching since '87.

Best To Worst For Me
1:2001 2:2003 3:2002 4:2006 5:2008 6:2000 7:2005 8:2007 9:2004 10:2009 (so far)
I hated this year so much. RAW is at it's all-time worst, Orton is starting to make me bored, there Main Event scene was just HHH/Orton/Cena/Batista, who I don't like that much (Well HHH can be okay, but not this year although I respect the man.) ECW is meh, I like the new talent, and Smackdown is the only good thing going right now. And how can anyone forget the horrible Wrestlemania this year, it only had one good match and that's Taker vs. HBK.

The absolute DEADEST crowds I've ever seen on live wrestling television. And rightfully so. And was it 04 or 06 that featured a six man tag for quite literally almost every Raw main event?

Yeah, I don't think 2009 is that much worse than 04, RAW did suck pretty damn bad, and Smackdown was good, so it's just like today, except now we have 2 other shows to go along with it. So actually, I gotta say 2004 is worse, you made me think there.

Well, in 2004 I fell out of love for the product so maybe that year. I actually stopped watching in 04 and didn't start watching again til about December of 2006. I thought 2007 was decent, 2008 was awesome and 2009 is not the best so far. 2009 is starting to improve a little, but last year was much better all-around.

2003. Just didn't do much for me that year. Hated the way too gi-hugant undeserved push that Lesnar got all year. Pretty much because I hate Brock Lesnar period. I was never a really big fan of his....nd that's basically what WWE centered around in 2003, was Lesnar.

I'm torn between '02 and '09. I've always felt that the first couple of months for the brand split in '02 was one of the most awful times I've witnessed. Summerslam and Survivor Series were both decent events, but that's about it as far as PPVs go. Remember when Bradshaw (pre-JBL) and Bubba Ray Dudley were two of the bigger names on Raw? This was while Austin was stuck in a mid-card feud with Ric Flair that made no sense. The NWO was awful after Hogan left (remember when Booker was randomly assigned a spot in the NWO by Flair, who by the way wasn't in the NWO despite siding with them week after week). Then Flair was suddenly a face after Austin walked out. And Triple H ed a manequin. And for whatever reason they eliminated two titles: the Intercontinental and the Hardcore. Smackdown managed to have some pretty awesome feuds/matches towards the end of the year with Edge, Mysterio, Angle, Benoit, Chavo, and Eddie. That was definitely the highlight of the year for me. And this year may not have been as strikingly bad, but I guess it was just the point where enough was enough, and I haven't paid much attention to the shows in months. I still get the PPV DVDs to add to my collection and I think, generally speaking, it's been a pretty entertaining year for PPVs. The only problem with them is that there is a lot of repetition, due to the fact that most shows happen a couple weeks apart from one another. As for the weekly shows, Legacy has to be the pussiest group I've ever seen. This is going to do more harm for Rhodes/Dibiase's careers than it will good. Orton was on a roll up until WM. I don't care how many hall of famers claim he's "the man" and will be in there shoes one day, this guy bores the hell out of me. Cena, whom I typically appreciate, has been a bore all year as well (send this guy to Smackdown next year, PLEASE). Batista's only as entertaining as the man he's feuding with (IMO, he's only had three enjoyable feuds: Triple H, Guerrero, and Undertaker). They realized they screwed over Raw in the Draft, so they switched up all the brands once more. Thing is, they forgot to do crapwith anyone that was traded to Raw. Amazingly, it seems like somehow everyone on Raw is just lost in the shuffle. Like '02, Smackdown is kicking Raw's ass. It was at it's best right after the draft when you had Edge, Jeff, Punk, Jericho, Mysterio, Morrison, and Umaga. It's not too shabby now though. What I saw of Punk/Hardy's feud was excellent, and 'Taker/Punk would be hard to screw up. They also seem to be doing something with their new talent, like Dolph Ziggler, Cryme Tyme, and Hart Dynasty. I'm giving my vote to '02. Seeing the list of atrocities has made me realize just how much crap has come up over the years. Since I'm bored, I'll briefly touch upon the other years: 2000 - I was an Austin fan through and through, so without him this was a blah year for me. I was also never a big fan of tag team matches main eventing every single episode of Raw and Smackdown, especially during Foley's time as Commisioner. 2001 - Despite how badly handled the Alliance storyline was, this year produced a ton of great matches and most of the PPVs were awesome. This is actually one of my favorite years. 2003/2004 - These two weren't really bad, IMO, but they were defintely a transition period for WWE. I've listed them together here because I often mistake events from one as being from the other. Of the two, '04 was an all around better year. 2005 - This year was back and forth. It started out great, then sucked for a month or so, then picked up again, then sucked again for pretty much the rest of the year. Eddie/Batista is the only noteable feud from the end of the year. It's a shame that got cut short, as it was definitely going to get better and better. 2006 - Angle/Undertaker's match at NWO is the only thing worth noting from the first part of the year. What looked to be the best PPV in some time, Vengeance, ended up being one giant promo to tune into Raw the next night. They ended the year on a pretty good note though, with Cyber Sunday, Survivor Series, and Armageddon all being surprisingly good. I don't care to mention December to Dismember or ECW at all that year, as it was all pretty much ranged from forgettable to terrible (remember when Big Show faced a different main eventer from other brands every week instead of building a feud of his own on ECW? Ugh.) Oh, and this year also brought us the tag team of HBK/God. Double ugh. 2007 - Wrestlemania was terribly disappointing, which is always the first thing I think of when thinking about '07. The best thing about '07 was that it began a streak of great PPVs that started with No Mercy and ended with Wrestlemania the following year. Six PPVs in a row is pretty commendable, IMO. 2008 - Raw was at it's most entertaining level since the Attitude Era from the week after the draft until the night Adamle was put in charge. It was pandamonium every week, with superstars calling the shots, and feuds weaving in and out and around one another. Regal's short stint as King/Commisioner was great as well. Truthfully, as far as PPVs go, I feel this year delivered more good than bad.

I vote 2009 So far it's just been bland. There hasn't been much good on PPV and RAW's just been meh so far. This followed closely by 2004 which wasn't much good
